As an African American, I have experienced a lot of challenges and obstacles in my life. One of the biggest issues that I face is racism. Being discriminated against because of the color of my skin is something that I have dealt with since I was a child. It's not just the overt racism that I encounter, but also the subtle forms of discrimination that are just as damaging. For example, I have been followed around in stores by security guards who assume that I am going to steal something. I have been pulled over by the police for no reason other than the fact that I am a black man driving a nice car. These experiences are not unique to me, but are shared by many other African Americans.Despite these challenges, I am proud of my heritage and culture. African American culture is rich and diverse, andhas contributed so much to American society. From music to literature to fashion, African Americans have made significant contributions to American culture.

Growing up as a black student in a predominantly white school was an experience filled with both challenges and opportunities. From a young age, I was acutely aware of the differences in skin color between myself and many of my classmates. This awareness often led to feelings of isolation and being different, especially during moments when discussions about race arose. However, despite these challenges, I also found moments of genuine connection and understanding. One such instance occurred during a history class discussion about the Civil Rights Movement. As we talked about the struggles and triumphs of black Americans fighting for equality, I felt a sense of pride in my heritage. My classmates listened intently as I shared personal stories passed down through generations, shedding light on the realities of systemic racism and its impact on my community. These moments of openness and empathy were crucial inbridging the gap between my black identity and the experiences of my white peers. It was through honest conversations and shared experiences that we began to see each other not just as black or white, but as individuals with unique stories and perspectives.Outside the classroom, I faced additional challenges in navigating social dynamics. There were times when I felt like I had to work twice as hard to prove myself, simply because of the color of my skin. Yet, I refused to let these obstacles define me. Instead, I used them as fuel to push myself further and strive for excellence in everything I did.One particularly memorable experience was when I decided to run for student council president. Despiteinitial doubts from some of my peers, I ran a spirited campaign focused on inclusivity and diversity. I spoke passionately about the need for representation and understanding among all students, regardless of race or background. To my surprise and delight, I won the election with overwhelming support from both black and whitestudents alike.
As a person who believes in equality and the importance of breaking stereotypes, I find it necessary to address the issue of stereotypes and misconceptions about black people. It is unfortunate that black individuals have been subjected to various stereotypes throughout history, perpetuated by media, society, and even individuals themselves. However, it is crucial to challenge and debunk these stereotypes, as they only serve to divide and discriminate. One common stereotype about black people is that they are all athletic and excel in sports. While it is true that many black individuals have achieved great success in the sports industry, it is unfair to assume that all black people are naturally gifted athletes. Just like any other race, black individuals have diverse talents and interests. For example, some may have a passion for art, music, orscience. By assuming that all black people are athletes, we limit their potential and overlook their other abilities.Another stereotype is that black people are more proneto criminal behavior. This stereotype is not only false but also harmful. It perpetuates racial profiling and discrimination, leading to unjust treatment of black individuals by law enforcement and society as a whole. Itis important to remember that criminal behavior is not determined by one's race but by various factors such as socioeconomic status, education, and upbringing. By generalizing and stigmatizing black individuals as criminals, we perpetuate a cycle of prejudice and injustice.Furthermore, there is a stereotype that black peopleare less intelligent or academically inclined. This stereotype is not only baseless but also insulting. Intelligence is not determined by race but by individual capabilities, access to education, and personal motivation. By assuming that black individuals are less intelligent, we undermine their achievements and potential. It is crucialto recognize and appreciate the intellectual abilities ofall individuals, regardless of their race.In conclusion, stereotypes about black people are harmful and perpetuate discrimination and inequality. It is important to challenge and debunk these stereotypes by recognizing the diversity and individuality of black individuals. By breaking these stereotypes, we can promote equality, understanding, and acceptance in society.

As a black person, I have experienced discrimination and prejudice firsthand. It is a sad reality that still exists in our society today. I have been treated unfairly and judged solely based on the color of my skin. One example of this was when I was in college and I went to a job interview. The interviewer took one look at me and immediately assumed I was not qualified for the job. He made assumptions about my education and abilities without even giving me a chance to prove myself. It was clear to me that he was discriminating against me because of my race.Another example was when I was shopping at a high-end store. I was followed around by a security guard the entire time, even though I was not doing anything suspicious. It was clear to me that he was only following me because of myrace. It was a humiliating experience that made me feel like a criminal. These are just two examples of the many times I have been discriminated against because of my race. It is a painful and frustrating experience to be judged solely based on something that I have no control over.
As a black brother, I always find ways to make people laugh. It's just in our nature to be funny and enjoy life.I think it's because we've had to face so many challenges and hardships that we learn to find joy in the little things. For example, I remember one time when I was at a party and the music suddenly stopped. Everyone was just standing there awkwardly, not knowing what to do. So, I decided to break the silence by doing the worm. It was so unexpected that everyone started laughing and cheering. From that moment on, the party was back in full swing.Another time, I was at a restaurant and my food took forever to come out. Instead of getting angry or frustrated, I started making jokes with the waiter and other customers. Before I knew it, we were all laughing and having a goodtime. And when my food finally did come out, it tasted even better because of the positive vibes I had created.I think that's the key to being a funny person –finding joy in unexpected situations and spreadingpositivity wherever you go. It doesn't matter what race or ethnicity you are, anyone can be funny if they have the right mindset.

Freedom is a fundamental right that every human being should have, regardless of their race, ethnicity, or any other factor. As a black person, I have experienced firsthand the struggle for freedom and equality. Throughout history, black people have been oppressed and discriminated against, denied basic human rights and opportunities. However, we have also been at the forefront of the fightfor freedom, using our voices and actions to demand change. One of the most significant moments in the fight for black freedom was the Civil Rights Movement in the 1950s and 1960s. Led by figures such as Martin Luther King Jr., this movement aimed to end segregation and discrimination against black people in the United States. Through peaceful protests, boycotts, and other forms of civil disobedience, black people and their allies were able to bring attention to the injustices they faced and push for change. As aresult, laws were changed and progress was made, though the fight for true equality is ongoing.Another example of the struggle for black freedom can be seen in the music industry. Black musicians have historically faced discrimination and exploitation, with their music being stolen and appropriated by white artists without credit or compensation. However, black musicians have also used their music as a form of resistance and expression, using their voices to speak out against injustice and inspire change.
The passage mainly introduced the reform of CEE nowadays. Universities are looking for compreheasive qualities instead of scores. Multiple exam are also mentioned, of the students will have more oppotuniaties. And there are also slight change in organicers of examination. Emotions are divided in my mind after reading the passage. On the are hand, the change is thing what we are looking for, and now t comes. But on the other hand. I’m worrying that schools can’t adept to the new policy, which is quite unfair to students who are going to take part in the CEE in few years, for they need time to inderstand the policy.
For me, the only measure I support is the vocational schools should be oryanized their examination by province. As we all know, the present situation is different from province to province, and only the province will know what kind of people they need. Indeed, the exam provided by ministry of Education is convenient, but it’s unfair to some students.
As a senior student, I think the present policy is good. Some says it’s out of democracy, but I think it’s the only way for most students to change their destiny. With years of practice, the CEE s becoming the sttuation, breaking the valuable balance. How will it work? Will it make a revolution of educational institution? Only time will tell.
