本课的教学内容是Unit2 I saw a terrible movie中Reading and Writing部分，属于本单元的第二课时，本节课主要是锻炼学生的阅读能力和写作能力，教学内容是关于娱乐活动的话题，围绕这一话题，本节课将阐述并讨论不同的人物有不同的爱好，不同的娱乐活动，通过对这一话题的学习，使学生学习与之相关的的词汇，让学生能够正确叙述自己的喜好，以培养学生的阅读技能和策略，为书面表达提供帮助。

2、学生分析对于职业高中的学生来说，整体的知识水平不算太高，掌握的知识程度也有很大的不同，但是我们所选用的教材，符合了职业高中学生的特点。

学生通过对基础模块1的学习，夯实了中学阶段的基础知识，单词的词汇量和阅读水平都有所提高，但是在口语方面，缺乏锻炼，即使思路清晰，但是语言组织方面欠缺，中国式英语还很常见，学生如果想要完成一个话题，还需要小组成员集体合作或教师的辅助才能够完成。
