专利文献种类及其代码（1）WIPO标准ST.16 （P45-47）第1组: 用于在发明专利申请基础上形成的并作为基本或主要编号序列的文献。

——第一公布级 A——第二公布级 B——第三公布级 C第2组: 用于具有与第1组文献不同编号序列的实用新型文献。

专利文献编号体系一、中国专利文献编号体系此阶段的编号特点：（1）三种专利申请号由8位数字组成，按年编排。

如88100001，前两位数字表示受理专利申请的年号，第三位数字表示专利申请的种类，1—发明、2—实用新型、3—外观设计，后五位数字表示当年申请顺序号。

（2）一号多用，所有文献号沿用申请号。

专利号前的ZL为汉语“专利”的声母组合，一般用在专利公报或检索工具中。

共用一套号码的编号方式，突出的优点是方便查阅, 易于检索。

不足之处是：由于专利审查过程中的撤回、驳回、修改或补正，使申请文件不可能全部公开或按申请号的顺序依次公开，从而造成文献的缺号和跳号（号码不连贯）现象，给文献的收藏与管理带来诸多不便。

因此，1989年中国专利文献编号体系作了调整。

此阶段的编号特点：（1）自1989年开始出版的专利文献中，三种专利申请号由9位数字组成，按年编排。

如89103229.2，增加小数点后面的计算机校验码，其它含义不变。

（2）自1989年开始出版的所有专利说明书文献号均由7位数字组成，按各自流水号序列顺排，逐年累计。

起始号分别为：发明专利申请公开号自CN1030001A开始，发明专利申请审定号自CN1003001B开始，实用新型申请公告号自CN2030001U开始，外观设计申请公告号自CN3003001S开始。

首位数字表示专利权种类：1—发明，2—实用新型，3—外观设计。

1993年1月1日起实施修改后的专利法，伴随1994年中国加入专利合作条约（PCT），1995年4月开始公布进入中国国家阶段的国际申请，为此中国专利文献编号体系又有新变化。

此阶段的编号特点：（1）进入中国国家阶段的国际申请均给予国家申请号，仍由9位数字组成。

前两位数字表示受理专利申请的年号，第三位数字表示国际申请的种类：1—发明，2—实用新型。

第四位数字9或8表示国际申请，后四位数字表示进入国家阶段的顺序编号，小数点后第九位数字是计算机检验码，如94190001.0。

INID为方便各国专利文献检索者，应有统一专利号的标志。

巴黎联盟专利局信息检索国际合作委员会（简称ICIREPAT）制定了一套专利著录项目的国际统一数字代号。

代号的作用是使不懂外国文字的专利资料工作者能根据代号识别这些项目，并便于电子计算机输入，进行机械检索。

此代号称INID。

专利编号有哪几种?其作用各是什么?2019
专利编号是专利局为每件专利申请案或专利编制的各种序号的总称。

在各种专利编号中,专利申请受理部门在受理专利申请时为每件专利申请案编制的序号称申请号；在公布专利申请或专利文件时为每件专利申请或专利编制的序号称文件号。

在文件号中,延迟审查制国家为公开申请说明书编制的序号称公开号；不审查制国家在完成专利申请案的形式审查后为公告申请说明书编制的序号称申请公告号；审查制国家在完成专利申请案的实质性审查后为公告申请说明书编制的序号称审查公告号（包括日本的特许公告号,联邦德国展出号,中国的审定公告号）；在颁布专利时编制的序号称专利号。

申请号与文件号作为专利编号的两个主要系统,在使用中具有不同的作用。

申请号是确定发明创造申请专利的标志,主要用于专利局内部专利申请和审批流程中的文档管理,它也是专利申请人与专利局之间有关专利事务联系的唯一依据。

文件号用于专利申请文件或专利
文件的公布,它是图书文献部门管理公开出版的专利申请文件或专利文件及公众索取专利说明书的重要依据,它与专利说明书类型标识连用,可提供专利法律信息。

由于各国编制专利编号的方法不同,一些国家的申请号与文件号在形式上有明显区别,如英国,申请号为年度系列编号,一件申请案的申请号为：年/年度内序号；公开号则为连续系列编号。

另一些国家则一号多用,即公开号、审查公告号、专利号均延用申请号,如联邦德国。

不管申请号与文件号在形式上是否有区别,在使用时,切不可混淆二者在不同场合的不同作用。
