A: As I know there are 5 steps to make a good study plan.B: Could you explain it in detail?A: Sure. First, you need to make this plan a permanent part of your life, so buy a good quality notebook to hold it in. Second, start with your broad education goals. List the courses that you must take to satisfy your degree or diploma requirements. Third, get into passing each individualcourse. That involves keeping a weekly study schedule that includes all of your courses. Fourth, keep a daily “to do” list in your notebook. Most successful people consider it a necessary step for making the best use of their time. Last but not least, evaluate. At the end of each day, before you retire for the night, you should go through your study plan and see whether you have completed it.3 A: What is a good study plan like?B: A good study plan should be simple, specific, possible, and written. A: Can you give me some examples?B: OK. When you have yours committed to paper, it should meet the following criteria:Simple — never complicated.Specific —never abuse generalities. It should state exactly what you’re going to do, when, where, and how you’ll do it.Possible — never be impossible. A good study plan details things that you’re capable of doing frequently.Written —not dependent on memory or willpower. That’s because you’re more likely to do something that you’ve put down on paper.A: It is very kind of you to offer me such helpful advice! Thank you very much!B: It’s my pleasure.Write About It10 Write a short passage of at least 100 words to describe the most memorable lesson you have ever had.The Most Memorable Lesson I’ve ever HadI’ve had quite a lot of lessons in my school life. Our teacher told us all of a sudden that an American visitor would give us an English lesson. Then came in a young man. He greeted us in English and then began his class, which was quite differen t from what we’ve had before. During the class he taught us English songs, played games with us and helped us act out a dialogue. He neither taught us English grammar rules nor asked us to do lots of written exercises. He was not serious at all. He was always smiling at each of us. Happy time was always short. The class was over before we realized it. Finally, we took a photo with the American visitor and said goodbye to him.Though we just spent two hours with him, I would never forget his smile, his songs and everything he had done with us in class Passage BThink about it1 I think I will be more confident and mature.2 The author feels that his college life is fun and exciting.3 I think if I want to get a general idea of the passage, I will read byskimming. I was sure that I could face the challenge, make the best of the opportunity and prove myself a worthy college student.。

1 Book I Unit 1 College Life A篇 学无止境 故事发生在一所东部大学里。
Unit 3 Leisure Activities
