专题 11 定语从句定语从句的用法较为复杂，高考除了独自观察定语从句知识外，还经常联合句式构造、时态等来综合观察。

纵观近几年各地高考试题，不难发现其考点主要包含：1．观察关系代词和关系副词的划分。

如：that，which和where，when的划分；that，which 和 why 的划分等。

2．观察 whose 的使用。

whose 能够指代人或物，在定语从句中作定语，后跟名词。

指物时， whose＋名词＝名词＋of which＝of which＋名词。

如：The classroom whose door/the door of which/of which the door is broken is onthe second floor.3．观察as/which指引的非限制性定语从句。

特别要重视which ， as指引的非限制性定语从句和it， what指引的主语从句的划分。

4．观察定语从句中的主谓一致现象。

如：I, who am your close friend, will try my best to help you whenever you are introuble.5．观察“介词＋关系代词”指引的定语从句。

“介词＋关系代词”指引的定语从句，关系代词指人时用whom，指物时用 which ，不可以用 that 。

关系代词作定语时也可用whose。

如：The teacher in front of whose house stands a tall tree is very patientwith his students.同时还要重视“复杂介词或代词”出现时与并列句的差别。

如：He loved his parents deeply, both of whom are very kind to him.(定语从句) He loved his parents deeply and both of them are very kind to him.(并列句 )别的，“介词＋which＋名词”构造，也是一个较为特别的构造。

2018届二轮复习多重定语从句例析同时修饰一个先行词或先行短语,或者分别修饰各自的先行词的两个或两个以上的定语从句统称为多重定语从句(multiple attributive clause)例如：1.He was a man whom all his friends admired and who won the respect even of his enemies.他是个朋友全都钦佩的、甚至赢得敌人尊敬的人。

2.He wants you to know that anyone who chooses the path he has chosen is sure to have periodic holidays in jail.他希望你了解, 凡是选择了他所选择的那条道路的人, 肯定会要定期地到监狱里去度假的。

3.I am the infamous creature you have heard of that lives among the thieves ,我就是你们曾经听说过的那个声名狼藉跟盗贼为伍的女人。

分析：第一句是由连词and连接的两个定语从句同时修饰其先行词a man;第二句中的两个定语从句"who chooses the path"和"he has chosen"并不是同时修饰先行词anyone而是第一个定语从句修饰其先行词anyone,第二个定语从句修饰其先行词(即第一个定语从句的宾语)the path;第三句的第二个定语从句"that lives among the thieves"则不是限制或说明第一个定语从句前的先行词the infamous creature,而是限制或说明第一个定语从句的先行词+定语从句",即先行短语"the infamous creature you have heard of"。

例如定语从句讲解与练习一、 定语从句的概念 在复合句中，修饰 的从句叫定语从句。

被修饰的名词或代词叫 ，定语从句一般放在先行词的。

二、 定语从句的关系词引导定语从句的关系词有 和,常见的关系代词包括 ___________________________________ ,, （宾格whom,所有格whose ）等，关系副词包括 __________________ , ________ ,等。

关系代词和关系副词放在先行词及定语从句之间起,同时又作 定语从句的重要成分。

三、 定语从句的分类根据定语从句与先行词的关系，定语从句可分为 及 。

限制性定语从句紧跟先行词，主句与从句不用逗号分开，从句不可 省去，非限制性定语从句主句与从句之间有逗号分开，起 作用，如省去，意 思仍完整。

四、 关系代词的用法 1. t hat 既可以用于指也可以用于指—。

在从句中作 _____________ 或，作主语时不 可省略，作宾语可省略。

例如：Mary likes music that is quiet and gentle.玛丽喜欢轻柔的音乐。

（that 作）The coat （that ） I put on the desk is blue.我放在桌子上的那件外套是蓝色的。

（that 作 ）2. which 用于指物，在句中作主语或宾语，作主语不可省略，作宾语可省略。

例如：The building which stands near the train station is asupermarket.位于火车 站附近的那座大楼是一家超市。

（作）The film （which ） we saw last night was wonderful.我们昨天晚上看的那部电 影很好看。

（作 ） 3. wha whom 用于指人who 用作主语，whom 用作宾语。

在口语中，有时可用who 代替whom, 也可省略。

（二）限制性定语从句与非限制性定语从句1、限制性定语从句：从句与主句关系密切，去掉从句，主句意义不完整，甚至不合逻辑。
