Ladies and gentlemen,
Today is a very special day, not only for the graduates
but also for their parents, friends, and families who have supported them in their long journey towards this momentous occasion. You have all gathered here in this prestigious institution, Harvard University, to celebrate the accomplishments of these young men and women.
As we look back at their journey, we can resonate with
the challenges they have faced and the sacrifices they have made to reach this point. They have pushed themselves beyond their limits and have worked very hard to pursue their dreams. Today, they have achieved their goals and are ready to embark on a new journey, a journey that will define their future.
As I stand here, I cannot help but reflect on my own journey. Like many of you, I did not have an easy path, but I was determined to change my life trajectory. I understood
that my destiny was not dictated by my circumstances, but rather by my choices, my attitude, and my perseverance. And this understanding has been instrumental in my journey.
Today, I want to share my journey with you, and I hope
that it will inspire you to make the necessary changes in
your life to transform your destiny.
Growing up, I was raised in a very humble family. My parents worked tirelessly to provide for us, but we still struggled financially. I knew from a young age that I did not want to live my life like this. I dreamed of going to college, obtaining a degree, and making a better life for myself and
my family.
However, my circumstances told a different story. I was
not an outstanding student, and I had no resources to pursue higher education. I had no connections or access to
influential people who could help me achieve my dreams.
But I was determined to change my story. I took charge of my education by reading extensively, attending seminars and workshops, and seeking advice from experts in various fields.
I was relentless in my pursuit of knowledge and self-improvement, and over time, I began to develop the skills and the network that I needed to achieve my goals.
It was not an easy journey. There were countless times when I wanted to give up, times when I doubted myself, and times when I was told that I was not good enough. But I held on to my dream and my vision, and I refused to let anyone or anything deter me from my path.
And today, I stand before you as a testament to the fact that anything is possible. I have achieved more than I ever thought possible, and I have changed my family's trajectory and my own.
My story is not unique, and my journey is one that many of us can relate to. You may have faced similar obstacles and challenges, and you may have doubted your ability to achieve your dreams. But I want to tell you today that you have the power to change your life trajectory.
You have the ability to make choices that will lead you towards success, happiness, and fulfillment. You have the strength to persevere and work hard towards your goals, no matter what obstacles you may face. And you have the
potential to transform your circumstances and create a better future for yourself and your loved ones.
As you leave this institution and embark on a new journey, I urge you to remember the power that lies within you. Use
your education, your skills, and your passion to make a difference in the world. Believe in yourself and your
abilities, and do not be afraid to take risks and pursue your dreams.
You have the potential to change the world, and I cannot wait to see the amazing things that you will accomplish in
the years to come.

As graduates of Harvard University, you have been given a world-class education, and you are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and critical thinking abilities to make a positive impact on the world. You have the ability to create new technologies, to solve complex problems, and to work towards a more just and equitable society. The Importance of Character But it is not enough to simply possess the skills and knowledge needed to make a difference. Equally important is the development of your character, your sense of purpose and integrity, and your commitment to making a positive impact on the world. As you embark on your post-graduation careers, I encourage you to be guided by a sense of purpose and a commitment to making a positive difference in the world. Some of the greatest inventions and ideas came from individuals who dared to dream big and were not afraid to fail. So, embrace your creativity and don’t be afraid to take chances. Lastly, I want to emphasize the importance of giving back. As you embark on your new journey, always remember to give back to your community and those in need. Whether it’s volunteering your time, donating to a charity, or simply extending a helping hand to a neighbor in need, giving back not only enriches the lives of others, but it also helps to create a better world for us all. In closing, I want to say how proud I am of each and every one of you. You have all worked incredibly hard to get to where you are today, and I know that you all have incredibly bright futures ahead of you. And that every time I opened my mouth, I would have to prove that I wasnt just a dumb actress. So I start with an apology. This wont be very funny. Im not a comedian. And I didnt get a ghost writer. But Im here to tell you today, Harvard is giving you all diplomas tomorrow. You are here for a reason. Sometimes your insecurities and your inexperience may lead you, too, to embrace other peoples expectations. Standards, or values.
