Unit2 Spring is coming
1. Teaching aims
 To let the students can listen、speak 、read and write the new words;
 To let the students can say lots of things we can do in these four
seasons;
 To let the students can speak out how’s the weather in these four
seasons;
2. Teaching contents
 New words: March、April、May、warm、hot、eat ice-creams、cool、
rich、cold、make snowmen
 Sentences: I often…/ Sometimes…/ We can/ like…
3. Teaching importance and difficulty
 Importance: can master the new words and sentences;
 Difficulty: can use the sentences in communication;
4. Teaching tools
 Word cards、 PPT、some magic wand
5. Teaching procedures
 Warm-up
T: One, two, three, you and me.
(伸出手做数字1 、2、3,然后指学生和自己)
One, two, three, we , we , we.
(伸出手做数字1、 2 、3,然后双手交叉散开)
One, two, three, let’s begin.
(伸出手做数字1 、2、3,然后一手握拳向上举三下)
Ss follow the teacher to chant and do.
Purpose:attract the Ss to take an active part in the class.
 Lead-in
T shows fingers and the Ss say the numbers, e.g. T shows two
fingers and the Ss say Two to lead to Unit 2.
Purpose:lead to Unit 2.
 Review
T shows the PPT and the Ss say the words quickly.
T ask the Ss two questions:
What’s your favorite season?
What do you do in…?
The Ss answer them with the sentences:
In …I often… Sometimes I…
Purpose:review the words and sentences we leaned before.
 New knowledge
a) T shows 3 fingers 、 4 fingers 、 5 fingers to let the Ss guess
the months: March、April 、May.
b) T uses the body language to let the Ss to guess the words:
warm(老师拿衣服罩自己身上)

hot(老师用手扇风并伸出舌头)
cool(老师向学生吹风)
cold(老师双手交叉抱紧自己)
c) T draws the pictures and the Ss guess the words:
eat ice-creams(老师画冰淇淋并做吃的动作)
have many fruits(老师画很多的水果)
d) Watch the video and let the Ss know the meaning of the passage
e) T shows the PPT and let the Ss look at the questions:
What are the four seasons?
Why do people like to go out in spring?
What can we do in summer?
When can we make snowmen?
f) Let the Ss read the passage , find the answers and underline
them;
g) Ask some Ss to answer the questions;
h) Let four Ss read the passage and other Ss follow;
i) Fill in the blanks according to the passage;
j) Let the Ss repeat the passage according to the body language;
k) Sublimation theme
T: The four seasons are beautiful. I like them very much. We
should love and protect our earth that will make our seasons
more beautiful.
l) Homework
Recite one part of the passage and draw one picture of your
favorite season.
