焊接件缺陷标准EN5817:20031 范围本项国际标准为所有类型的钢、镍、钛及其合金的熔焊接头（不包括电子束焊接）提供了缺陷的质量等级。
它适用于厚度在0,5mm 以上的材料。
关于钢材的电子束焊接接头质量等级，请参考ISO 13919-1。
为了适用广泛范围的焊接制造，本标准提供了三个质量等级，分别用符号B、C 和D 表示。
质量等级B 对应完工焊接的最高要求。
质量等级指的是产品质量，而不是产品的目的适用性（见3.2）。
本项国际标准适用于：——非合金和合金钢材；——镍与镍合金；——钛与钛合金；——手工、机械和自动焊接；——所有焊接位置；——所有类型焊接，例如对焊、角焊和分支连接；——以下遵照ISO 4063 的焊接过程及其规定的中间过程：——11 无气体保护的金属电弧焊接；——12 水下电弧焊接；——13 气体保护金属电弧焊接；——14 非自耗电极气体保护焊接；——15 等离子弧焊接；——31 氧燃气焊接（只用于钢材）；冶金学方面的因素，例如粒度、硬度等等，不在本标准范围之内。
