Introduce yourself I’m an undergraduate in my freshman year, and I will graduate from Wuhan University in the year of 2012 in the field of economics. Well, my father used to be a staff in a certain company but later on, he’a been working for IBM, in Wuhan for 20 years, as an manager. To be more specific, he is responsible for / in charge of / manage / control / play an essential role in / take part in / assists outs with office operation
/ new staff interviews / sales promotion.
Well, I insist that as the old Chinese proverb goes for everything, there’s got to be a balance! You may try everything, by no one should over intake anything. For example, in taking too much hot and spicy food likw barbecue and Chinese muttons shashilk, will definitely / without doubt cause irritation in eyes and lips / sore eyes and throat / tooth decay / over-weight. Personally, I enjoy something light as a result especially for the breakfast, I would use some fresh sorbet, nice apples and some toast never too much, cuz(because) it’s still stodgy for my stomach and too crunchy for my teeth. Well, I just can’t help loving Chinese food too much, for example, (meat with fish flavor 鱼香肉丝 / well-done duck with salty bean sauce 老干妈烧老鸭 / ham with fresh bamboo shoots), because it’s quite delicious! It looks inviting, smells fragrant / aromatic / sweet / refreshing and tastes bitter first, sour later, then a little salty, and a unique spiciness remains at last.

Well, I was born in Wuhan. The city that have always been wishing to show my best friend from South Africa around is WH the capital city of Hubei province, which is located / sifuated in central part of China, and is divided by nationally famous Yangzi River into three districts, namely, Wuchang, Hankou and Hanyang.(反正你在武汉考，这么说他也不知道) Education is well-developped inWC, as you may find most of the universities and colleges, such as / including / like / let’s say Wuhan University. HK is the most propers and busting of the three, if you were a new comer here, a shopping nut / shopping maniac eapecially HanZheng Street and Jianghan Road would be my first and foremost recommendation. Well, HY used to be the center of assembly industry in central China but / however / nevertheless nowadays, IT industry and anti-pollution are booming / toosting / shooting / bambooing / mushrooming / flowering . thriving(都是”developing”的意思，就是不要用低级词汇) at a fancy / an amazing speed.
Climate & Environment There are four seasons here in my hometown, and the climate varies from one to another! We fly kites along the river bank in order to / to send away all the bad luck and misfortunes from last year, traditionally, the earlier, the higher, the better! It’s a tradition for us to go swimming across / along the Yangzi River to escape from the summer heat. Some even go white water rafting to kill the summer. Students on campus like us go hiking and picnicking out during the fall and there are all sorts of welcoming parties and apple picking parties everywhere! We Chinese hold spring festival to welcome our traditional Chinese new year in winter, which is the biggest event for each family as well as the nation without doubt.
操作ATM机 （我们老师教的，此材料可以延伸为，你干过的做难忘的一件事，你帮助别人做过的一件事，你第一次尝试做的事……） As a shopping-nut / maniac, I find an ATM, an automatic teller machine, really handy for me, which can be found everywhere on the city comers. First, I will pick out my cash card / debt card out of my purse / wallet. And then, I will line up the magnetic strip properly and insert the card into the slot on the ATM. When a message on screen requires for my PIN. I will have to enter the PIN code by pressing keys on the keyboard. Soon after that, I must enter the amount of money as I wish. Then the machine returns my card, and gives me my cash.
Making a salad (此材料则可延伸为我最喜欢的一道菜，我会做的一道菜……) Well, if I could do something preparing for the dinner, I could choose to make a salad, cuz it’s only cooking that I could master without hesitation. There are actually some simple letture by running water over it, and drain it on a colander.I should clean some tomatoes and cucumbers(黄瓜) as well, and slice / chop them with a knife on a cutting board. The second step, I bet you may guess it, is that, I will mix letture and cucumber in a salad bowl, and laid the tomato slices on top. Finally, I need to the sprinkle some grated cheese on the salad, and pour some dressing on it.
