Working Circumstance Affects People’s Working Performance
This is a bar chart that shows how two groups of people of different ages are influenced
respectively by ten diverse factors in work performance. People who are between 18 to 30 years
old are in one group and 45 to 60 the other. Factors covered in the chart include team spirit,
chance for personal development, relaxed working environment, competent boss, job security,
respect from colleagues, promotion prospects, job satisfaction, work environment and money. And
the results are demonstrated in percentages from 0 % to 100 %. Some impersonal information
such as which aspect is paid the most or least attention by people between 18 to 30 and between
45 to 60 as well as how those two groups distinguish in valuing factors can be concluded, all of
which will be elaborated respectively in following paragraphs.
For the group whose members vary from 18 to 30 years old, chance for personal development
is supremely valued at a rate of 90%, followed by relaxed working environment and promotion
prospects both of which are at 80%. Money toppled the rest ones with a rate of approximately
73%, next to which is team spirit, job satisfaction and competent boss with a rate of 60%, 50%
and48 % respectively. Job security and respect from colleagues are much less significant to people
in this group with the same rate of 40 % while work environment the least concerned one merely
with a rate of 30%. The statistics reveal an actuality that people at a period of 18 to 30 years old,
which is known as the energetic age, are most likely to expect the favorable personal development,
promotion prospects and a relaxed working environment. It can be ascribed to their physical vigor
and working experiences as people in their energetic age are usually swarmed with vitality and are
at the beginning or in the halfway of their life expectancy which requires a great space progresses
so as to achieve self-fulfillment.
People in the other group are from 45 to 60 years old, to whom money occupy a predominant
position with a rate of 70%. The competent boss takes the second position and job satisfaction
together with promotion prospects the third at a rate of 50% and 48% respectively. The following
factors are respect from colleagues at a rate of 43% and chance for personal development at a rate
of 40%. The relaxed environment and work environment rank the last second with the same rate of
30% while job security the last one with a rate of 20 %. Readers can discover that material factor
such as money is under the strongest concern of people in this group, accounting to their working
age and their complicated working experience which denotes that people during this period of age
are skilled in working with less space for improvement and senior in age with few years to
continue their work. Hence, wages, the ultimate objective for working people, boosts to be the
priority.
Another information manifested in the chart are the distinct attitudes of the two groups
towards factors that affect their working performance. It is palpable to recognize that people
between 18 to 30 years old are more prong to be stimulated by working circumstance as the dates
collected from them range up much higher than that of people between 45 to 60 years old.
Moreover, the rate of the senior group is not only lower in peak and bottom but also more similar
in general while that of the junior group varies sharply. It is the result of diverse ambitions as for
