Discussion of the Effect of the drugs that act on the autonomic nervous system and β-blockers βPurpose: To master the effects of cholinergic, antianticholinergic, adrenergic and anti-adrenergic drugs on the antiblood pressure and heart rate. Method: First, anaesthetize the dog (body weight 14kg), and record the normal blood pressure and heart rate. Then inject intravenously the drugs in the following order: 1. Acetylcholine 1µg/kg and 100µg/kg 2. Atropine 2mg/kg and repeat No.1 3. Physostigmine 5mg/kg and acetylcholine 100 µg/kg 4. Hexamethonium 10mg/kg and acetylcholine 100 µg/kg 5. Adrenaline 0.5µg/kg 6. Noradrenaline0.5µg/kg 7. Isoprenaline 0.5µg/kg 8. Prazosin 0.5mg/kg and repeat No.5.6.7. 9. Propranolol l0.5mg/kg and repeat No.5.6.7. The results are presented in figure 19-(1~7). 19-(1~
