Discussion on the application and development of steel concrete structure

Steel concrete composite structure is a kind of structure which is based on the steel structure and
reinforced concrete structure. It is a new type of structure, which is based on the steel structure
and reinforced concrete structure. In this paper, the application and development of steel concrete
structures are discussed.

One, the application of steel and concrete
(a) steel and concrete composite structure in accordance with steel and steel reinforcing way

high-rise, high-rise, heavy industrial architecture, bridge structure, high-rise building. And
gradually formed a new structure with the traditional four major structures (steel structure,
concrete structure, wood structure, masonry structure).

Two, the advantages of the steel reinforced concrete composite structure

concrete column, steel tube concrete column due to the high compression bearing capacity, and
can do not limit the axial compression ratio, so in the high-rise and super high-rise building in the
use of steel tube concrete column, can reduce the cross section 50% even more. Due to the high
bearing capacity of concrete filled steel tube column, column section, frame structure can be
applied to large span grid, large space.
So in high-rise building with concrete filled steel tubular column than the reinforced concrete
structure to increase the use of the area from 3% to 6%.
(three) the column section reduces to the earthquake resistance
Compared and reinforced concrete columns, steel pipe weight concrete columns, seismic response
caused by earthquake action will be reduced. According to the data analysis, high-rise buildings in
the structure system of steel tube concrete column and steel beams than the weight of the
reinforced concrete structure can reduce a lot of, the earthquake can be reduced by half, quite on
the fortification intensity dropped once.
(four) the column section reduces the cost of foundation base
