The English are different because there exists the so-called Englishness among them. However, a conflict between Admass and Englishness has been going on for some time. And the role the English workers and their union bosses play, the role the men and women in the professional classes play, the way the young develop, the kind of political leaders they have as well as whether they reject their Englishness will decide the result of the conflict. Although it is obvious that Admass will be the winner, the Englishness, which needs reinforcement, is still with the English people.
