今天，我和妈妈一起去陪妈妈的朋友聚会，聚会结束后，我和妈妈准备回家的时候，突然发现爸爸不见了。我着急地问妈妈：“爸爸去哪儿了？怎么找不到他？”妈妈也很焦急地说：“不知道，他早就应该回家了。”我们急忙打电话给爸爸，可是他的手机关机了，我们只好急匆匆地回家。

回到家，爸爸还是不见踪影，我们开始四处打听爸爸的行踪，可是没有一个人知道他去了哪儿。我想了想，突然说：“爸爸可能是去找我们家附近的花园了。”我和妈妈连忙赶往花园，可是在花园里没有找到爸爸。我们只好继续寻找，沿着爸爸常去的路线走，四处打听，奈何一直没有找到爸爸。

终于，经过一番周折，我们找到了爸爸，原来他在路边的书摊上买了一本好看的书，一不小心忘了时间。看到我们着急的样子，爸爸十分愧疚地说：“对不起，让你们担心了。”
