Unit4 Animals in the zoo单元教学设计一、学情分析处于这个阶段的孩子，具备一定的语言基础，且能用学过的英语简单地谈论Animals，如I like ...They are...这个阶段的孩子已非常熟悉英语学习的一些方法和策略，如听音模仿、看图说话、故事表演、小组合作等等。
总之，孩子们现有的基础和习惯，能够确保他们比较容易地掌握本课。
二、教材分析本课话题为Animals in the zoo，语言知识为一般疑问句及回答（Do you like...? Yes,I do./ No, I don’t.）“Do you like...?”这一句型在教材中并非首次出现，但运用助动词do的回答却是第一次出现。
这一知识点是否扎实掌握直接影响到实义动词相关问句的掌握。
就教材内容来说，学生掌握起来并不难。
因此，建议教师以教材为基础、以学生实际水平为根据进行适度的拓展，如拓展动物类单词、介绍动物的句型、有关动物的小故事等等。
三、单元设计整体思路和依据通过图片和动画，呈现动物类单词；通过画一画、演一演、说一说来交流动物的特点；通过创设动物园的情景，引导学生进行对话练习和表演；通过故事阅读和表演，引导学生了解、创编有关动物的英文小故事。
