Lesson 5 Days of the Week

一、教学目标

1. 听懂、会说、认读星期单词:Sunday,Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday,Saturday。

2. 听懂、会说、认读并口头运用句型:What day is today / it? It’s ____.

3. 了解元音字母a、e、i、o、u在单词中的发音及规则。

二、教学重点

1、听懂、会说、认读星期单词:Sunday,Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday,Saturday.

2、熟练运用句型What day is today / it? It’s _____.

三、教学难点

灵活运用所学知识“What day is today/it?” “What is she/he wearing?”在真实的语言环境中进行交流,谈论一周七天的穿着。

四、教学过程

Step 1 : Warming-up and revision

Greeting and free talk

教师结合实际情况,谈论自己的穿着,提出问题What are you wearing?引导学生谈论他们的穿着,指着一位同学提问what is she/hewearing?由此复习服装的词汇和句型。

Step 2 : Lead in and Presentation

Part1:What day is it?

1、 Word: day

Li Ming的图片,What is he wearing?

出示生活中的日历.From Monday to Friday,Danny goes to school. On Sunday and Saturday,he

doesn’t go to school. He can play with Li Ming. 结合前面学习的单词play,引导学生认读单词day.

呈现Sunday, Look, Danny doesn’t go to school on Sunday.单词卡片一一呈现Sun-day,引导学生认读。

呈现Monday,On Monday, he goes to school.单词卡片一一呈现Mon-day,引导学生认读。

呈现Tuesday. Look,on Tuesday he goes to school,too. 单词卡片一一呈现Tu-es-day,引导学生认读。

呈现Wednesday. Look,the next day is Wednesday. Does Danny go to school?单词卡片一一呈现Wedn-es-day. A letter is silence,which letter?向学生渗透字母d不发音。

呈现Thursday. Thursday comes after Wednesday.单词卡片一一呈现Th-ur-s-day,引导学生拼读单词。区别Tuesday 和 Thursday.

呈现Friday. What about this day?Do you go to school?单词卡片一一呈现Fri-day,引导学生拼读。

呈现Saturday,引导学生看大屏幕日历说出On Saturday,we don’t go to school. 单词卡片一一呈现Sa-tur-day,引导学生拼读。区别Sunday 和Saturday.

带领学生回归文本,观察并总结星期单词的相同点,结合生活中的日历图片,让学生自己理解星期单词的缩写形式。

呈现几个重要节日的图片和日历,进行小组问答练习。

Part2:Let’sing!

What day is it? What is he wearing? 结合学生的回答,教师将下列句子补充完整He is wearing

______on a_____morning.

Let’s talk

一名学生和老师一起谈论,为学生做示范,学生两人一组谈论剩下的图片。师生共同演唱歌曲。

Part3: Letters and sounds

学生读字母a和前两个单词,What can you find?字母e、i、o、u学生小组讨论总结规律,根据发现的语音规律认读第三行的新单词。

Step 3: Homework

Make a chart about “What are you wearing on______?”and talk about it.(制作并谈论一周七天的穿衣表格)
