1绪 言
本国际标准定义了各种接口，以便在下列情况下实现接插件兼容：
a）位于不同车辆上的设备间
b）位于同一车辆内的设备间
本标准定义了这些接口，用于连到被称为列车通信网络（ＴＣＮ）的数据通信网络。 ＴＣＮ为二层总线的体系结构，即列车总线和车辆总线。
A）对开式列车（见定义）中的互连车辆，如ＵＩＣ列车，本标准规定了被称为绞线式列车总线（ＷＴＢ）的列车总线。
B）为连接标准的车载设备，本标准规定了被称为多功能车辆总线（ＭＶＢ）的车辆总线。
在ＴＣＮ体系中，所有总线共享同一个实时协议，它提供两种通信服务：
a）过程变量，为分布式的实时数据集，通过广播周期性地刷新。
b）消息，只有需要时才用下面两种方式传送： •单播（点对点）。 •多播。 ＴＣＮ的所有总线共享一个公共的网络管理，它能对整个网络进行查错、调试及维护。
本标准还包括一致性测试导则。
ＴＣＮ的结构与ＩＳＯ/IEC7498-1定义的开放式系统互连模型类似，见图１
