My Life as a Student
Hi there! My name is Emma and I'm 14 years old. I just
started 9th grade last fall. I wanted to tell you all about my life as
a student and what school is like for me.
I've been going to the same school district ever since
kindergarten. I absolutely loved elementary school - we had
recess every day, art and music classes, and tons of fun projects
and activities. My teachers were all really nice and made learning
feel like a game a lot of the time. I remember in 2nd grade we did
this huge unit on community helpers where we got to have
firefighters, police officers, and even a chef come in as guest
speakers. So cool!
The transition to middle school was pretty tough at first. The
building was so much bigger than my little elementary school. I
