一、教学内容:Part A
二、教学目标:
1、认知目标:
a. 能听懂,会说,会读,会拼写单词:Christmas, Halloween, New Year's Day, Spring Festival,
Mid-Autumn Festival, people, didn't, had, relative, delicious, favourite, dress up, went, moon
cake.
b. 能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语:Christmas is coming. What's your favourite holiday? My
favourite holiday is Halloween.
c. 能听懂,会说,会读,会写初步了解并掌握句型:When's ...? It's in ... What do people usually
do at/on ...? They ... Did you ... last...? Yes, I did. / No, I didn't.
d. 搜集有关东西方节日风俗的资料,渗透相关的文化知识。
e. 鼓励学生收集资料,积极参与到教学活动中来。
2、能力目标:学生能用新的语言表达方式谈论节日中的活动。
3、情感目标:教师创设情景,使学生能将所学到的语言知识通过多种形式运用到实际活动中。从而激发并强化学生学习英语的兴趣,以及提高学生的综合语言能力。

六、教学反思:
本课课前布置了学生通过预习课文和自查资料,整理节日相关的活动,因此在课上,我先以表格的形式复习了节日名称和when is...?接着就自然引出What do people usually do on/at---?they usually---.在对话的过程中,教学部分动词短语,也为后面的课文教学积累语言材料。由于本课动词短语较多,也比较难读,因此在课上给了一些时间背诵。句型本身并不难。接着我把时间改成了last Spring Festival,自然引出did you ---last ---?由于过去时的一般疑问句在第五单元已经提过,因此学生对其理解并不难。所以还是词汇是本课的难点。
