二、Teaching Objectives:
1、Knowledge aims:
a、enable the students to read and say the words and phrases: Spring Festival, Halloween, Mid-Autumn Festival, relative, delicious, dress up, favourite.
b、enable the students to understand and say sentences: When’s …? It’s in …What do people usually do at/on …? They usually…Did you…? Yes, I did. No, I didn’t.
2、Language skill aims: enable the students to use the new patterns to make new dialogues in proper situations.
3、Moral-education aims: enable the students to communicate with the others and let them enjoy the topic discussion.
三、Teaching Key Points: a、to read part A fluently; b、to make the role-play.
四、Teaching Difficult Points: a、the usage of the new patterns; b、to choose a topic to give group discussion.

Step One Pre-reading 5min

T: Let’ have a view of these holidays.
设计意图:通过一系列与节日话题相关的提问和回答,引出本节课的话题“节日”,并且通过问答也复习了之前学习的节日名称。
Step Two While-reading 20 min
1、L isten to the tape for twice, and try to answer the questions: What date is it ?
Which festival is coming? Are the teacher and the students excited? What is Mr.
Green doing?
2、R ead the preview part after the tape.
设计意图:通过引导学生听引言部分的录音,回答问题,再将问题的答案串联起来复述,以此来引导学生整体感知和记忆引言部分。
3、W atch the cartoon, and try to understand the whole part dialogue.
设计意图:第一遍看卡通,整体感知课文内容。
生的注意力牵引到与节日相关的活动中来。
设计意图:在听录音完成表格的过程中,让学生带着疑问去听录音,从中筛选信息完成表格。
由这一步,学生对对话中的人物在节日里做了什么活动也有了了解。
7、Read part A in different characters and 6 as a group.
Step Three Post-reading 14min
1、r ole-act reading based on group work
(teacher choose 2 groups to read the whole dialogue)
2、W hat’s your favourite holiday? Choose a festival and give a topic discussion.
设计意图:看陈列的节日图片,选出其中一个节日与小组成员说片段。
让学生在本节课学到的知识能学以致用,也让教师能了解学生的掌握情况。
Step Four Assign Homework 1min
1、R ead part A for 3 times.
2、W rite down the passage you’ve talked about in class.
设计意图:将课上说的片段写下来作为课后作业,让学生在课后能进一步修改,巩固和运用所学知识。
