Write the sentence on the board. Point to the word on and explain its meaning. Hold up the same book then place it behind the door Say the book is behind the door 2) model the dialog Hold up a red pen place it on the desk and Ask Is the pen on the desk? Yes it is. place the pen behind the door Now ask is the pen under the desk.? No, it isn’t. Now place the pen on front of the door and repeat the question. Repeat the procedure for on. In. behind and in front of. 3) talk about the story Have the children open their books at pages 38 and 39 ask these question about the pictures: 4)story Now we re going to hear what the characters said play the tape and have the children look at the picture as they listen
