Judging from the cultural value and traits, we can obtain the coincidence that what we consider the country where civilians have more pressure from their jobs has lower happiness index in the investigating from statistics. Biased and superficial seems the judgment made,but the trend could still be speculated through the numbers. I comprehensively combine different "rational" factors with "irrational" own feelings, concluding that job apparently has more effect on happiness than social life, reasons and examinations will be explored to break down the controversial issue.
Initially, the achievement from the work means a person has a great capability and they regard this kind of succeed in professions as the ultimate happiness in life. Many successful people are fully involved in their business, namely Steve Jobs, some of which even do not have the social life. However they feel much happiness because they can see their small company developing into a big one, just as their kids. For example, my father is a manager in a company. All his life is to work and he often work until midnight in order to sell more machines. Even though he was so tired and do not have a social life, he still feels happiness in the work and will work harder next year because the achievement from the work gives him a sense of accomplishment. He proved his value in the company. All of these mentioned above can be important factors that affect people’s happiness.
Moreover, when we really do a good job in the work, we can earn much more money. From the prospective of reality, the biggest motivation that people work is their salary because we can buy whatever we want with money and have a sense of satisfaction materially. Besides, we can guarantee our family a better life with more money so that they can be happier. As they are happier, why don’t we? For example, previously I did not work very hard on my job and I only earned a little money. well in our vacation, what we get is something mentally, like some spiritual food. Finally, if we can keep a good relationship between our colleagues and boss in our job, we can also get happiness. When we have a harmonious interpersonal relationship, we can get much help from them as we are facing some difficulties so that we can be happy. At the same time, when they are in trouble we can give them a hand. Helping others and being helped are both beneficial for us and we will feel delightful in that process. In the long term, the mutual help among the colleagues can be virtuous circle. It is important for us to get along well with our workmates because we spend one third of our life time in working and living with them. Therefore, a good interpersonal relationship is advantageous in our working and provides us a good mood in the work.
In conclusion, I strongly agree that the job can offer us much more happiness than the social life for reasons mentioned above.

As the economy and technology develop at an incredible speed in today’s society, there are an increasing number of people believing that the most important problems affecting our society today could be solved within our lifetime. In my view, however, this is out of the question and the three most significant problems affecting the society, namely war, environmental destruction and disease, will still influence us and may not be entirely resolved forever. War is a problem afflicting humans since they took into being in the first place. Wars take place when different countries have conflicting benefits, which is unlikely to be eliminated as long as the boundaries between countries still exist. For instance, in the Middle East where water is extremely scarce, many countries are in conflict in contention for water resources. Since every country acts for the sake of its own benefit, it seems that people in the region are incapable of living together in harmony. Eternal world peace, therefore, is unlikely to be achieved in our lifetime. Environmental destruction emerged not long before but it is becoming increasingly severe and can not be ignored. With the large-scale utilization of fossil fuels and rapid development of industry, huge amounts of pollutants are being produced, contaminating the environment to a large degree. The disposal of these pollutants being a tough task, it is hardly possible that we can completely get rid of them within a short period of time. Furthermore, even if we can come up with optimal methods for dealing with these substances, there remains the problem that these methods may cost too much and obstruct the development of economy. Last but not least, the well-being of people around the world is threatened by a variety of diseases, ranging from AIDS to cancer, the cures for which have not been discovered yet. Diseases set off panics among humans, affect their normal life and leave people badly off with the high medical expenses. There are thousands of scientists devoting themselves to finding cure for diseases, but new types of diseases keep emerging and there is no eliminating all of them. In summary, the problems with the most significance today are going to be passed on to our offspring. To eliminate these problems thoroughly, there is still a long way to go.

For instance, preparing the material for the topic, researching some knowledge in the textbooks and discussing the task with the other students in group are the things that you can do even when you do not have any inspiration. So redistributing your plan can avoid wasting your time waiting. Second, good idea is always late for your deadline, a regret that can be eliminated by right-away action. The more time you waste on planning and considering your presentation, the less time you will have to revise and complete your assignment. Take my brother Jim for an example.
