Dear Diary,

Today was a beautiful day. The sun was shining and the birds were

singing. I woke up early and went for a run around the

that studying in the morning works best for me as my mind is fresh

and alert. I focused on my maths and English papers, which are my

weakest subjects.

In the afternoon, I met up with some friends for lunch. We went to

a popular café and I had a delicious chicken burger and fries. We

chatted and caught up on each other's lives, which was nice as we

hadn't seen each other in a while.

After lunch, I went shopping for some new clothes. I bought a few

一、日期表达有多种形式。

1.年、月、日都写时，通常以月、日、年为顺序，月份可以缩写，日和年用逗号隔开。例如： december 18, XX 或者

dec. 18, Xx

b)只有月、日

3.天气情况必不可少。天气一般用一个形容词如 :sunny,

二、日记的要求

日记的正文是日记的主要部分，直接写在星期和日期的下面。可以写在顶框，也可以缩进3到5个字母。因为记录的内容通常已经发生，谓语动词多使用一般过去时。但也可以根据具体情况使用其他时态。比如描述天气和风景，可以用现在时来表达当时的情景，以便生动地描述。再比如用现在时或将来时在文章后表达自己的感受或评论。写日记要简单连贯。如果有文字提示，要注意提示，抓住要点。句型尽量用简单句，防止复杂，出现语法和句型错误。

英语日记和汉语日记一样，是用来记录一天中发生的有意义的事情或者对未来的计划。日记可以分为笔记、讨论、描述和抒情。
