Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Good evening, my honorable judges and dear fellow students! Firstly,

I have to express my enjoyment for having the chance standing here to

deliver a speech for you. Thank you for your sincere listening.

In our daily life, it is universal that the following situations emerge:

we “say” that we’re going to do something, but whether it can be

achieved or not is the afterwords. We “say” we are going to travel to

someplace, when it comes to the day, we feel regretful that we don’t

either have time or money. We “say” that we want to get scholarships, but

as the time flies away, we find that we still have no courage to show our

mark papers to our parents. Plans, seem not to be able to keep up with the

changes.

We all may have a question when we face these annoying scenes:

“How could these happen? ” How? Some of us are aware of this matter,

thus we realize that we sometimes are more willing to just speak out

some words rather than take real actions.

There is a proverb saying, “Actions speak louder than words.” We

can manage to do something only when we actually start to do it. It must

to be known that no matter how much we’ve said, what will make

difference to our practice is how much we’ve done.

Life is a box of chocolate; you never know what you will get.

Forrest Gump made no decision by and for himself but he accomplished

great success with his strong will during his life journey. As for me, there

is no need and I don not want to judge whether it right or wrong for me to

be here, but I congratulate to myself for I gain and enjoy this fantastic

experience.

The same to our dreams. Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life

is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when

dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. Whatever your dreams

are, don’t just talk about them, don’t let them go, put our splendid words

into industrial actions, from today, from now!
