"Unforgettable", says new journalist

Never will Zhou Yang (ZY) forget his first assignment at the office
of a popular English newspaper. His discussion with his new boss, Hu
Xin (HX), was to strongly influence his life as a journalist.

HX: Welcome. We're delighted you're coming to work with us. Your
first job here will be an assistant journalist. Do you have any questions?

HX: (laughing) That' s admirable, but I' m afraid it would be

一．学生分析
高二（8）班是高二年级第二层次的班级，本班级学生英语基础一般，上课气氛较为活跃，能够积极配合老师，师生互动较好，能通过小组讨论形式进行自主探究学习。
二．教材分析
这节课的教学内容是人民教育出版社的普通高中课程标准试验教科书（必修） Book 5, Unit 4 Making the news 第2课时，即 Reading。整节课重点放在对课文 “My First Work assignment “Unforgettable”, says new journalist ”的理解。基于学生的英语基础,运用各种阅读手段,贴近高考题型,让学生在理解文章的同时能更有效地锻炼其各种技能.课堂上坚持以学生为主体，培养其合作探究能力，努力创造良好的英语学习氛围。
