Tommy's weekend
There are six members in Tommy's family. They are his

Sunday morning, Tommy played football with his
father and grandfather. They had great fun. In the
afternoon, Tommy and his younger sister watched TV

grandpa. They enjoyed it very much.
Mrs. Jackson was walking her dog in
the park. She ate a banana and threw the skin
on the ground. Suddenly, her dog ran away.
What would he do? He caught the banana
skin and threw it in the rubbish bin. The
banana skins make the earth dirty. Always
remember to put rubbish in the rubbish bins.
Everyone should learn to fight pollution.
The four pictures show us some fire rules.
If you go to a place, make sure you know
the location of the fire exit. When you find a
fire, remember to call 119. The firemen can
help you. If there is much smoke, you
should lie down on the floor. Don't forget to
wet some towels and cover your nose and
mouth with them.

Yesterday was Sunday. I went to the park with my
classmates. There we had a picnic and played
happily. Then, we decided to go home. On our way
home Fangfang suddenly said she left something
there and we had to go back to the park. When we
arrived there, we found nothing but the rubbish we
left. Then we understood why she asked us to come
back. We all began to pick it up. Although it took us
about twenty minutes to pick up all the rubbish, we
felt very happy. Taking care of the environment is
our duty. We should not throw rubbish about.
Today is Monday. Lily and her brother get up
early. They water the plants in their garden. After
breakfast, they go to school together. After
school, Lily goes home and draws a picture with
her father in the garden. Lily draws a small house.
In the evening, Lily writes a letter to her pen pal.
She tells her pen pal she's very happy today.
When Tom got home from school this
afternoon, he found his mother lying on the bed. His
mother told him that she didn't feel well and asked
him to do some cooking. He agreed and began to
cook supper. When the meal was ready, he filled a
bowl with noodles and brought it to his mother.
After a while, his father came back from work. When
he knew all this, he was proud of his son.
These four pictures show us that our earth is in danger.
Look at the first one. There is too much heat on the earth.
We know that the greenhouse effect can cause the level of
seas to rise. Look at the second and the third pictures.
Because people cut down so many trees and kill a lot of
animals, the environment of the earth becomes worse. The
fourth one tells us sandstorm will also make our world in
trouble. It pollutes air and brings problems to people's lives
and work. As a student, we should learn to be green. We
should try our best to save our world. That's all, thank you.
