精讲点拨:how is it going? Not too bad.
教学重点 1.New words:dry, cold, hot, warm visit, Canada. Summer, winter, fall, spring., juice
Europe, country,vistit.
2. sentence patterns: What is the weather ? It is snowing.
How is the weather in ShangHai? It is sunny.
What are you doing? I am cleaning.
Is Julie studying right now?
How is it going with you?

Step I. Warming-up 6min 1a
(1) Greet with the class as usual and check the homework.
(2) Have students review the patterns learned last class. Do a quick
dictation of words and phrases.
Step II. Pairwork and new knowledge learning 10min
Put up the pictures on the blackboard. Let students ask and answer
questions about the weather , then finish the teaching task of Part 1b

Step III. Listening drills 12min
Activities 1b, 1d and 1e. Teacher gives Ss the opportunitiy
to use the target language in a controlled manner
Step IV. Pair work and reading 10min
Underline what they can do. In groups, leaders help
members to understand the passage well.
Make a competition among each teams. Let’s see which
group ranks the best.
Step V. Do some exercises to deepen the impression 4-5min
