(Ⅱ)Analysis of the students and treatment of teaching material
Some Ss are good at English , but some are poor . I’ll give different assignments to Students according to their practical situation . For example , Ss who are bad at English are required to master key words , phrases and sentence patterns . While Ss killed in English must write an adress and give a speech during next class .
(Ⅳ)Knowledge Extension
The Participants are vocational college Ss.It is important to develop their practical skills .Address is a necessory ability. A good speaker is good at selling himself .Speech training can not only improve their spoken English but also help build their self-confidence . Teaching Ss some skills is necessory . Presenting skills : Know your topic and audience Make major points Pay attention to speech speed and intonation Use body and humorous language Relax before you go on Practice, Practice, Practice
(Ⅳ)Teaching Key And Difficult Points
Key points: To help the Ss to listen to native English . To enable the Ss to analyse the whole passage . To develop the Ss’ interest in English . Difficult points: How to write an address and act it out . How to analyse the Attributive Clause .


Ability objects
To develop the Ss’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Focus on ability on speech .


Moral objects
To enable the Ss to find out what they love . To enable the Ss to have passion for what they do and have faith in themselves..
(Ⅰ) STATUS AND FUNCTION This part is TextA of Unit1 , New Trend College English , Book3. It is an intensive reading lesson . From this lesson , the Ss are required to grasp contents ; To attain “four skills” request of Ⅰ listening, speaking, reading and writing ; To remember the new words ; To know about Presenting skills of speech ; To write an address and deliver it . Such a topic is related to computer which is familiar to Ss majoring in network , so it is helpful to raise their learning interests and it will be also helpful to improve their spoken English.



(Ⅴ)Homework
It is necessary for the Ss to do some extensive exercises after class to consolidate the knowledge they learned. Ss who are bad at English are required to recite the words as many as possible and finish ExI&ExII after class. I’ll check next class Ss killed in English must write an adress and give a speech during next class .
Part Two The Teaching Methods
Presentation A good beginning is half the battle. It can arouse students’ interest and desire to study and make them study actively. Practice Pactice makes perfect . Pactice can help Ss be proficient in new words and sentence patterns and gain basic language ability . Discussion Let students to discuss . For example :Do you think it is better to take “useless ”courses to get a degree,or would it be better to take classes for your interest ? What courses do you like best ?
