课程名：初一下选修课：西方文化授课时间：单周周三下午八九节授课人：罗娟娟课时：5次*2课时=10课时西方文化知多少教学第一节节日：圣诞节教案（2课时）教学目标：1、让学生了解圣诞节的有关知识，了解异国文化、习俗，拓宽学生的知识面，培养学生跨文化交际的意识和能力。
在生活和游戏情景中初步体验集体圣诞节的欢乐气氛。
2 、大胆开口说英文单词（Christmas cap lamp 等）和简单的句型。
3、能积极想象与大胆表达自己的意见。
教学重点：了解圣诞节的有关知识。
教学准备：1、物质预备：圣诞树、大红布袋、抽奖单、小礼品若干，音乐《we wish you a merry Christmas 》、《hello 》和《silent night 》；2、经验预备：学生已初步了解和熟悉与圣诞有关的物品和相关西方文化。
教学过程：1.Greeting and warming up 《hello 》（问候与热身运动）师：Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today? 2. Review some words (bell, ball, Santa Claus) and learn the new words : Christmas cap and lamp. （复习与圣诞有关的单词并且学习新单词－圣诞帽和灯。
）（1 ）Game 1:feel the magic bag （游戏1 ：神奇的口袋）师：Look, what is this? Who wants to try? Feel it! 营造圣诞的欢乐气氛，重点进行“Christmas ”和“P ”的发音练习。
（2 ）Game 2 ：pass around （游戏2 ：传话游戏）师：Now lets say it one by one. Ready? Go! （3 ）Game 3: lower and higher （游戏3 ：高低游戏）师：Well done. Now lower please, and then higher.Understand? Start! 3. Review the sentences : I want …, We need … . （1 ）Game 4:hang up the presents----what do we need ? （挂礼物）师：Here are many presents for you. Do you want it? What do you need?引导学生在选择礼物和挂礼物的同时说出该礼物的英语正确发音。
（2 ）Game 5:tell Santa Claus----what do you want ? （配音乐，许愿）师：Now make wish. 在美丽的圣诞音乐中，轻轻的用英语许下自己的愿望。
“I want … . ”4.Game 6: draw lots （抽奖）在公布抽奖的时候，引导学生体验收到圣诞礼物的快乐，并运用与同伴交流自己的礼物。
5. Sing a song “we wish you a merry Christmas ”ends up （歌曲《圣诞快乐》结束活动）师：We are very happy today. Lets sing a song. 。
分析：1 、而孩子们最感爱好的就是戴圣诞帽、送圣诞礼物，见圣诞老人，而那首悠扬的平安夜之歌更赢得了孩子们的喜欢。
本周起我班开始启动圣诞活动的环境布置，学生对圣诞的期盼已经是十分热切。
2 、顺应孩子的需要，我设计了“圣诞快乐”这个英文活动，并且在活动中结合圣诞穿插游戏、歌曲、生活（挂圣诞礼品、抽奖），创设一个生活化的自然宽松的情境，让学生在说说、做做、玩玩、想想、唱唱中快乐的学习英文，学习他们喜欢的圣诞英文6 、Homework ：把圣诞歌唱给父母听。
7 、Blackboard writing ：Merry Christmas!第二节节日：Thanksgiving Day(2 课时)教学目标：让学生了解感恩节的有关知识，了解异国文化、习俗，拓宽学生的知识面，培养学生跨文化交际的意识和能力。
教学重点：了解感恩节的有关知识。
教学重点：读准Thanksgiving Day ，turkey ，pumpkin pie 和Americanfootball. 教学过程：一、Warm-up 1 、欣赏歌曲“Thanksgiving ”2、引入：T ：Do you know Thanksgiving Day? Today I will tell you something about American Thanksgiving. 二、Presentation: 1. T: Do you know the Story of American Thanksgiving? Ss: I don’t know.T: Now please listen to me. 每年11 月份的第四个星期四是Thanksgiving Day（感恩节）。
它是美国人民独创的一个节日。
美国人在感恩节中一定要合家欢聚，就像中国人过年一样，强调团团圆圆。
所以感恩节是美国最重要的节日之一。
早在1620 年，一些在英国受到宗教迫害的清教徒乘船来到美洲。
但是当年的冬天就让他们遇到了跨越不了的困难处境。
饥饿和寒冷使他们一半人都失去了生命。
此时，心地善良的印第安人给他们送来生活必需品，还教会了他们种植、狩猎等等生存技巧。
终于，这些移民坚强地存活下来。
为了感谢印地安人的帮助，在丰收的那一年，移民邀请印第安人一起庆祝。
这就是感恩节。
2. T 板书Thanksgiving Day 带读，并让Ss 以小组、个人等形式练读。
3 、T: Thanks giving is an annual one-day holiday to give thanks, traditionally to god, for the things one has at the close of the harvest season. 感恩节是每年一次，传统意义上的感恩节，是指人们在临近丰收时对上帝的感恩之情。
In the United States , certain kinds of food are Turkey is traditionally served at thanksgiving ually the featured item on any thanksgiving feast table. 在美国，感恩节人们会想用一些特色食物，比如说，火鸡就是最有代表性的食物。
Mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, Indian corn, other fall vegetables, and pumpkin pie arecommonly associated with thanksgiving dinner. 感恩节晚餐基本以土豆泥肉汤、番薯、酸果曼沙司，印第安玉米以及其他秋季时令蔬菜为主，当然还有美味的南瓜饼。
4. T 板书turkey ，pumpkin pie, Ss 跟读。
5 、T ：The American winter holiday season begins when thanksgiving ends. American football is often a major part of thanksgiving celebrations in the U.S. A. 美国的寒假就是在感恩节结束后开始的。
橄榄球是美国人在感恩节庆祝活动的重要组成部分。
6. T 板书American football, Ss 跟读。
7 、Play a game: 1）看老师的嘴型猜猜老师读的是哪个词。

Thanksgiving is a time when I tell you that I love you. 感恩节是表达爱意的最好时刻，可以是爱情、友情、亲情等等一切形式的爱。
It will be sad not to see you during the holiday when families get together. 家人团聚的节日里，不能看到你，我会很难过。
Warm wishes at Thanks Giving Day. 在感恩节送上最衷心的祝福。
三、Homework ：1. 把感恩节的有关知识告诉父母。
2. 收集一些感恩节祝福话语。
四、Blackboard writing ：Thanksgiving Day Thanksgiving Day pumpkin pie turkey American football 第三节节日：Halloween（2课时）教学目标：让学生了解万圣节的有关知识，了解异国文化、习俗，拓宽学生的知识面，培养学生跨文化交际的意识和能力。
教学重点：了解万圣节的有关知识。
教学重点：读准Halloween 和pumpkin lantern 。
教学过程：一、Warm-up 1 、Let’s sing a song. “We can sing and dance”together. Ss: Sing thesong. 2、引入：T ：Do you know Halloween? Today is 24th of October. Halloween is coming. （介绍万圣节的传说，师板书10 月31 日，英美等国的万圣节板书Halloween 学说。
）二、Presentation: 1. T: Halloween falls on the night of Oct. 31st and it gives us a perfect opportunity to have great fun! Do you know the origin of Halloween? （介绍万圣节前夜的起源，万圣节的习俗和万圣节最流行的游戏）2、学生了解，交流，再总结。
So it celebrates autumn harvest and it’s also a ceremony of the dead. 3、学习万圣节常用的物品。
