瞧瞧R290喷墨打印机2006年11月24日，当大家都以为年度即将结束桌面喷墨打印机难再起喧哗的时候，爱普生(Epson)在北京举行了隆重的新品发布会，之后R270打印机就以迅雷掩耳的速度登上了中国大陆的舞台，宣称是对R230打印机的升级。
2007年9月，时隔大半年，爱普生先后在韩国、中国台湾、中国香港地区推出了R290打印机，当猜测应是对R270打印机升级的时候（好象升级的速度也太快了点），让人纳闷的是R290也宣称是对R230打印机的升级。
到底谁才是正宗的升级机，还是R270与R290本就是一个机的两种名称？按照爱普生以往的惯例，一个机的两种名称应该是R270与R260、R290与R280，R270与R290中间跳了一格，莫非是对R270的升级？在等待了近一年时间后至今R290都没有在中国大陆地区发布。
爱普生“R290未有中国的3C认证或3C认证标识，不是在中国大陆地区合法销售的产品” 一纸公告估计将使R290不会再在中国大陆销售了。
也许有炒作与自我炒作的因素吧，公告后满世界都知道有个R290，还知道其价格甚至比R230要便宜，如果中国大陆的R270销售价格低于一千元人民币，鬼才相信R290会泛滥。

一、概述打印输出是各种计算机系统最基本的输出形式，随着科学技术的不断进步，从早期的球式、柱式等打印机到70年代初期出现针式打印机再到80年代以后相继出现了激光、喷墨、热转印、磁式、离子式等非击打式打印机，以形成了多品种的一个种群。
二、打印机的种类随着打印技术的发展，当前的打印机已经形成击打式和非击打式两大类。
击打式打印机是利用机械作用使之与色带和纸相撞击而印出字符。
而非击打式打印机则不是利用机械作用。
主要打印机机种如下：针式串行式字模式击打式排针式、多头式行式字模式：柱式、带式、链式打印机喷墨式串行式热转印式电灼式非击打式热转印式行式静电式喷墨式激光式光式发光二极管式页式液晶式荧光式式磁式离子式其它方式三、针式打印机针式打印机是利用打印钢针撞击色带和纸打印出点阵组成的字符和图形。
它分黑色和彩色两种。
其优点是：价格低，易操作，消耗费用少，具有多份拷贝功能。
其缺点是：噪音大，分辨率低，彩色图象输出效果差。
四、喷墨打印机喷墨打印机从工作原理上可分为多种二维偏转型电荷式控制型多维偏转型连续式电场控制型喷涂型黑雾型喷墨打印机端面喷射型气泡式侧面喷射型随机式压电管型压电式压电隔膜型压电叠片式火花喷射式其它方式墨雾喷射式固态喷射式喷墨打印机的分类使用水性墨水的喷墨打印机按其工作原理可分为两种：压电式和气泡式。
压电式打印技术的原理：是利用电脉冲驱动压电晶体伸缩，激励墨水喷出。
典型的有爱普生喷墨打印机、施乐大幅面喷墨打印机。
气泡式打印技术的原理：是通过电路晶体发热体积膨胀，激励墨水喷出。
典型的有佳能喷墨打印机、惠普、利盟喷墨打印机及绘图仪、ENCAD NOVAJET系列喷绘打印机。
喷墨打印机的优点：1. 采用点阵印字技术，可输出任意字符和图形2. 具有高分辨率，可达5660dpi3. 噪音低，工作宁静4. 机构的可动不见少，可靠性高5. 速度高，整机功耗低，生产成本低6. 易实现彩色印字，印字质量高，运转费用低7. 印字头无磨损或很少出现磨损现象8. 整机设备规模小，占空间小缺点：无多份拷贝能力，打印质量与打印速度、打印介质等因素有关。
