Interest is a person’s psychological inclination to touch, know and master something or to take part in some activities. English learning should be started since baby time, that’s why the English courses are arranged for primary students. Pupils often have great interest when they begin to learn English. But as the learning content increases and deepens, they haven’t got a correct way and lack of proper phonetic environment, their interest will decrease and they even feel tha English learning is too boring, which make them lose their confidence in learning English and the teaching quality will also be affected as a result. Therefore, teachers should stimulate students’learning interest and good habits in learning English. “Interest is the best teacher,”only when we have students inerested, he will be happy to learn, take the initiative to learn. So teachers should strive to create a relaxed, happy, harmonious, equal classroom learning atmosphere. Classroom teaching activities should absorb the merits of traditional teaching, and at the same introduce the task-based teaching activities to further improve the system of teaching English. Therefore students can learn more independently and creatively. Meanwhile the method naturally has also integrated with the new curriculum ideas. Etiquette is that one people demands even a nation, a country culture accomplishments and morality accomplishment external show the form, the basic being to conduct self. It is formed gradually during people’s long time living together and mutual communication and settled in the forms of customs, habits and traditions. To an individual, etiquette is an outer representation of his ideology and moral level, his cultural cultivation and his communication ability. To a nation, etiquette is the inflection of its civilization procedures,its moral inclinations and its living habits. It is very important to concentrate on and carry out the etiquette education in our moral practice. Etiquette education has a significant meaning in cultivating civilizad, polite moral and highly qualified talents. Using teaching methods that the language the nature and conform with individual’s own characteristics. To make the foreign language classroom “alive” is the question which the foreign language educator should discuss. The classroom activity teaching merit. The perfect English discipline teaching system enables English classroom instruction to manifest independence and creativity, and the main idea of the new curriculum is also added to it naturally. Adopting the new standard ooks,and combining it with reality, we provoke students’learning interest. Thus I conclude my point of view: 1. Emotional interaction, stimulation of interest. Emotion education is the teachers’ expertation and favor to the students. It is the outer motivator to encourage and direct the students’ conciousness of progress. It is also the most basic and important requirement for a sucessful teaching program. Seeing from students’ feature of age and psychology, they would like to gain the teachers’love, respect and trust. Teachers should help them in time, praise them when tiny progress is obtained by them from the emotion of love to students. So that students can feel the sincerity of the teachers and they will trust their teachers and firm their will and deotermination to learn English well. On this psychological basis, the interest in learning English is grantly provoked. If a teacher shows indifference to a students, however well or bad he performs in his study, or a student’s English is not excellent and the tercher shows no care to him, then he will give up himself, lose the confidence and lose the interest as well. On the contrary, if a teacher actively cares about the students, communicateswith them frequently, direct them into the correct way in their studies make them feel that they are cared and trusted. In this way, they eill transfer passive learning into active study. From this we can see that communications between teachers and students are really important. 2. Stimulating interest by using modern teaching methods. We can conduct context-teaching by fully taking advantage of the new standard books. There are many beautiful pictures in primary students’ books. We can put the students into a world of sound and color with the help of multi-media audio-visual simultaneous language system. This is vivid and connected with real life. Organizing contents in this way can help students connect the English they learned with real situation. English as a tool’s function can be arrived and the teaching quality can be improved. In the teaching process, we must take full advantage of teaching instruments, movements,cards, pictures and objects to make students know the fun of learning English. Sometimes, teachers definitely can give students a chance to play the roles in the books with the help of some tools. Students can find the fun of learning through entertainment and in fun they find themselves the interest of learning English. However, at this moment, another topic is introduced,that is stimulatig their conciousness of attendence, lighting the classroom atmosphere, casting knowlwdge through enteraining and happy teaching. “Interest is the best teacher.” Therefore, we must stimulate primary students learning interest to the greatest extend in classroom teaching. We should use active, vivid, and direct teaching method, carry out interesting classroom activities that make classroom teaching full of both sound and passion and students’desire for knowledge according to students’psychological traits. In this way, students will not only like to take English lessons, but also want the chance to attend the curricular acticities and to answer the teacher’s questions. They’d like to play games, so I introduce it into class. This can light the classroom atmosphere and train tudents’listening and expressing ablity. As a result, they gain the knowledge through a relaxing and happy way. Since primary students’ attention focus is rather limit, how much teacher can do to light the classroom atmosphere become important in provoking students’ learning interest. 3. Fully display of students’ potential, cultivation of their confidence. Everyone aspires to be successful, important and respectful. They hope that their talent can be displayed, their value can be fulfilled. This kind of ideas in students by hoping that their little success can arise teachers’ and classmates’ attention. This little success is the mastery of all kinds of knowledge. Once it proves they succeed,their confidence increased and they want to be better and better.
