【课题分析】在单元内容上,围绕“Life is full of the unexpected.”这个主题展开教学活动,讨论出乎意料的事件,语言功能项目为描述过去的经历。
旨在让学生了解生活中发生的事情不是总能预测的,无论发生的事情是好的或坏的, 我们都要保持冷静,想出及时有效的办法解决它。
在语法上综合复习部分时态和状语从句,学习过去完成时态。
在教学结构上,Section A部分以Mary一大早发生的事情为情景导入和角色扮演,承接阅读文章911事件的发生。
Section B部分首先谈论话题最近发生的事情,阅读文章以西方愚人节为主题,增强学生对西方节日文化的了解。
通过选取愚人节中在国外发生的几则事例,训练学生的阅读技巧,同时告诉学生对他人开玩笑要有节有度,切不可随心所欲。
【教学目标】(一)知识目标1.学习掌握新词汇和短语以及相关句型。
2.掌握理解过去完成时态的用法。
3.了解西方愚人节文化的历史背景和节日习俗。
(二)能力目标1. 能够运用过去完成时讲述过去发生的事情。

【教学重难点】在分析单元内容和教材结构的基础上,结合学生生活实际,现制定如下教学重点和难点:1.重点:掌握本单元重点词汇、短语句型和过去完成时态的含义及用法。
2.难点:运用阅读技巧,分析理解两篇阅读材料以及巩固拓展材料。
【教学任务】本单元设置多种情境和材料,围绕话题“Life is full of the unexpected.”展开论述,贴近生活具体实践,为的是让学生认识到生活中的许多不确定因素可能会给我们的正常生活带来不必要的麻烦,从而突出强调我们应该以良好的心态去面对意外事件并努力解决这些问题,让自己的生活充满正能量。

下面我将从教材、教法、学法、教学过程等几个方面对我的教学设计做以下说明。
一、说教材:本堂课属于对话教学,它紧紧围绕愚人节这一话题展开,我主要采用词不离句,句不离篇这一方来法帮助学生理解掌握本课的重点句型,再通过语言活动和情境的创设引导学生发现我们所学内容与生活的密切联系。
从而激发学生学习的兴趣。
二、说教学目标:根据有效教学目标设计要求和教学内容,我对本课时制定了以下几个教学目标:1、能掌握以下单词:fool, costume, embarrassed, costume party, announce, spaghetti, hoax, sell out, discovery, lady, cancel, officer, believable, disappear, embarrassing ;2、能掌握以下重难点句子;3、提高学生的听力技能。

三、说教学重难点:结合教学目标及学生的学情,我拟定了本节课的教学重难点:1、本课时的教学重点是能够正确的运用重点句型进行问答。
2、本课时的教学难点是能够在正确的语境中熟练运用重点句型并根据所学词组写一篇短文。
四、说教法和学法:说教法:根据教材内容和学生因素的特点,我主要以导入、学习、练习、反馈为主线来展开我的教学。
说学法:为了使学生更好的掌握本课的重点内容,我主要采用小组合作,练习等学习方式来引导,激励学生大胆的参与到课堂活动中。
同时在活动中实践与交流,从而帮助学生在情境中运用英语。
五、说教学流程:(一):热身复习:1、日常会话练习让学生快速进入语言学习的状态。
2、幻灯片出示练习题,用于复习巩固上节课所学内容。
(二):导入:1、完成1a。
通过完成练习帮助学生理解并区分名词、动词以及形容词的区别以及用法。
2、利用所给出的单词造句,并试着完成填空练习题,帮助学生巩固词的用法,同时检测学生的掌握情况。
(三):新课呈现:1、出示典型的愚人节的图片。
直接进入主题的同时吸引学生的注意力。
2、让学生说一说自己对愚人节的理解以及自己在愚人节所遇到的有趣的事情来激发学生对了解愚人节的渴望和兴趣。
3、播放视频介绍愚人节以及一些典型的发生在愚人节的事件,让学生深入了解愚人节并产生兴趣。
(四):听力练习。
1、让学生自己理解给出的题目。
找学生读题。
2、播放录音,让学生试着完成练习。
3、找学生读题并检查答案。
4、听录音跟读听力材料。
(五):小组活动:1、给学生一分钟的时间想一想自己最难忘的一次愚人节,试着用英语来描述一下。
可以利用1c 和1d.当中所给出的句子。
2、四个人一小组,给大家讲一讲你的故事。
3、每个组挑选出一个最有意义或者最有意思的故事分享给全班同学。
培养学生将所学知识运用到现实生活中。
(六):家庭作业:1、背诵积累所学习的新单词。
2、试着用英语将你的故事写下来。

本课话题能激起学生的好奇心,调动学生学习英语的积极性。
本单元围绕“The unexpected things”这个话题展开教学活动,告诉学生Life is not always perfect。
让学生了解生活中发生的事情不是总能预测的,无论发生的是好的或坏的, 最终使学生明白一点,生活不总是完美的。
遇到困难时刻,我们要保持冷静,想出最好的办法解决它。
本节课是节阅读课,文章结构学生比较容易把握。
这节课除了掌握些重点单词,短语及句型外,还要学生掌握一定的阅读技巧,提高学生的阅读能力。

情景教学法:借助多媒体课件,增强趣味性和直观性,增大课堂容量和增强直观性,提高课堂效率,面向全体同学,在阅读过程中帮助学生掌握知识。
引发学生去思考,尝试新知,启发思维,培养能力,最终提高应用英语解决实际问题的能力,在阅读过程中帮助学生掌握知识、发展学生阅读能力、形成正确的价值观。
六、学情分析从整体来说,学生的学习积极性还是比较强的,大多数学生学习态度较端正。
部分学生学习的兴趣不够浓厚,学习的主动性不强,两极分化现象比较严重,尖子生不够突出。
从几次小考的情况看,学生各学科之间发展不平衡,存在着偏科的现象,尤其是英语学科,有一部分学生(特别是男生)英语特别差,独立解决问题的能力也比较差。
大部分学生还存在着依赖性,不愿意自己探究知识,没有好的学习习惯,还要教师在今后的学习中进行渗透。

Homework1.Review the new words and expressions.2.Recall the unexpected in your daily life and try to tell them to your friends in English.八、教学反思本课主要是一节阅读课,在本节课的教学过程中,在阅读过程中帮助学生掌握知识,各个环节由易到难,环环相扣,面向全体学生,争取让每一个学生都能参与到教学活动中来,得到练习的机会,教学目标圆满完成,大部分学生在这节课后能掌握文章介绍的两个事件,掌握一定的英语阅读技巧,从而提高学生的阅读能力。
但由于本节课是全英授课,导致基础不好的同学在理解上有些困难,从而不能很好的听懂老师的要求,今后教学要更加注重中差等学生的学习效果。
