重点和难点，也是高考的重点考察 内容之一。 根据对历年来试题的分 析,高考的热点依次是:
1.)推测和可能性；
2.)情态动词+have done；
3.)虚拟语气； 4.)shall, should, can 和must 表特定 语气.
1.情态动词主要有: can, could, may, might, must, ought to, shall, should, will, would, need, dare，had better, etc.

情态动词的基本用法
情态动词具有一定的词义，没有人称和数的变化，必须和
其他动词一起构成谓语，用来表示愿望、态度或推测等。
1．表示能力
(1)表示现在的能力caamn/is/are able to (2)表示将来的能力：will be able to (3)表示过去的能力

三、have to的用法 1．have to意为“不得不，必须”，后跟动词原形。

2．have to与must的区别。 (1)must强调说话者的主观意愿；have to强调客观上的必要性。 The last bus left, and he had to walk home. 最后一班公共汽车走了，他只好步行回家。
