英语课程标准解读及实践:深入开展语篇研读,切实促进深度学习
《2022年版义务教育英语课程标准》指出,教师要以语篇研读为逻辑起点开展有效教学设计,充分认识语篇在传递文化意涵,引领价值取向,促进思维发展,服务语言学习、意义理解与表达方面的重要作用。阅读教学作为语篇研读的最佳载体,更是英语学科深度学习的主阵地。在深度学习理念下的阅读教学,使学生通过分析、批判和创新,汲取文化精华,凸显出英语学科的育人价值,使英语学科从学科知识为本的课程转向学科育人为本的课程。
教学过程是教师向学生传递教学内容,并使学生掌握的过程。学生的学科知识在这个过程增长,学科能力在这个过程中培养,学科素养在教学过程中孕育、渗透和养成。教师采用何种教学方法促进这个过程的最大效益化,即是深度学习的“有效生长途径”。学生通过参与记忆、认知、归纳、分析、思考、推断、评价等活动,增长该学科特有的见识,提高对世界、对社会的基本判断力,形成对人生的基本价值观和态度。教师仔细推敲教学方法,精心设计语篇研读环节,探索深度学习的教学路径势必成为教学的重点。
结合苏教版牛津英语相关课例,在细读课标、钻研教材、分析学情的基础上,笔者反思得出以下几点以深入开展语篇研读,实现初中英语阅读教学“深度学习”的有效策略:
一、在深度追问中发展高阶思维
问题是思维的起点,适切的问题能激活、驱动思维。“问题乃通向理解之门”,问题能激发学生的学习兴趣,引起学生的高阶思维,促进深度学习。问题的设计要有梯度,源于文本又高于文本;要指向教学目标,又符合学生的特点,能够促进有效的高阶思维,让学生进行发散思维和批判性思维的训练;要开放,让学生有话可言,发挥主动性。在教学实践中,注重三个转变:从信息型问题到开放型问题,从展示型问题到参考型问题,从评价型问题到迁移型问题。
例如,在教授译林版《牛津英语》8A U6 Reading一文时,教师A和B在播放了相关视频后均采用了开放式提问引入法。前者:Where
