一、教学目标
1. 能听、说、认、读单词“few, thing, meet, Easter, trip”以及词组“a few, sports
meet”等。
2. 能在日常交际英语中灵活询问并回答某一活动或节日所在的月份,即能灵活运用句型“When is … ? It’s in … ”。
3. 能完成“Let’s try”部分的听力任务。
二、教学重点
能灵活运用句型“When is … ? It’s in … ”聊关于“日期”的话题,培养学生的合作意识。
三、教学难点
了解日常生活中某一活动或节日所在的月份,并能灵活展示交谈 运用句型“When is … ? It’s in … ” 。
四、教学准备
1. 学生六人一组。
2. PPT,人物头饰,单词卡片等。
五、教学过程
Step 1: Warm up
(1)教师播放“The twelve months”,学生唱本单元歌曲,创设良好的英语学习氛围。
(2)教师说明小组比赛规则:Look! I have some Easter eggs. Do you want it?
If you do good , you can take a picture for your group. The group winner, you can get it.
(3)教师出示课件
T:Let’s guess! Which season is it ?
S:Spring. / Summer. / autumn. / winter.
T:Which season do you like best ?
S:I like spring / summer/ autumn / winter best.
T:Why do you like spring / summer/ autumn / winter ?
S:Because / I like…… / I can …… .
Step 2: Presentation
(1)教师衔接上一个环节说:“I like spring best. Because we have a few fun
things in spring.”出示课件让学生理解a few fun things,并教读,然后分小组检查读音。
(2)教师出示课件说:We have a few fun things in spring. In spring we have
a …… 依次引出本课时要学习的词组 Easter party, school trip, sports meet,同时呈现新词组,然后教读,最后分小组检查读音。
(3)教师出示课件学生根据提示完成填空,巩固所学的新词组。填空中理解After sports meet. 教读并分小组检查读音。
(4)教师出示课件说:It’s an invitation about sports meet. Look carefully and
answer the questions. When is the sports meet? Who will go to the sports meet?
Whose parents? 学生认真看回答问题。然后听录音完成Let’s try部分。
(5)教师出示课件说:Who are they? 学生回答:They are Mike and Zhang
Peng. 教师接着说:Look carefully and answer the questions. When is the Easter
party? When is the sports meet? When is the school trip? 教师呈现句子。
(6)教师播放动画,学生回答问题同时呈现句子It’s in April. 让学生理解并教读句子,分小组检查读音。 (6)学生跟读Let’s talk部分。
Step 3: Practice
(1)小组内分角色练习对话,上台佩戴头饰展示对话。
(2)Fill in the blanks 检查并巩固所学对话。
Step 4: Consolidation and extension
(1)小组内跟自己的伙伴根据提示组织对话并上台展示

(2)评选优胜小组,颁发奖品。
Step 5: Homework
(1)Copy the sentences.
(2)Read and talk.
(3)Make a new talk with your friends.
