Unit 3 Is this your pencil?
第三课时
教学目标:
1. 学生能够准确运用句型“Is this/that your…”来询问是否属于他人的物品,并用“Yes, it is.”“No, it isn’t.”来回答。
2. 学生能够了解并识别颜色单词。
3. 学生能够在实践中培养观察、比较、发现和颜色认知能力。
4. 学生能够借助游戏和教具等形式激发学习兴趣和积极性。
教学重点:
1. 句型“Is this/that your…”及其应答形式的灵活运用。
2. 颜色单词的记忆和运用。
3. 实践中比较、观察并发现物品颜色。
教学难点:
1. 学生遇到不认识的单词时的表达和理解。
2. 学生能否通过比较观察找到正确答案。
教学过程:
Step 1: Review
1. Greet the students as usual.
2. Review the vocabulary of colors learned in the
previous lesson with a fun color matching game. The teacher can prepare a set of color cards and ask the students to
match the cards with colored objects in the classroom.
Step2: Lead-in
1. The teacher shows the students some pictures of
daily necessities, such as pens and pencils, books and
rulers, and elicits the words from the students.
2. The teacher then asks the students to practice the
sentence pattern “Is this/that your…” with the words
they have just learned.
Step3: Presentation
1. The teacher presents the sentence pattern “Is
this/that your…” with a set of toy objects of different
colors. The teacher picks up an object and asks the student
if it belongs to them.
2. The teacher then gives the answer “Yes, it is” or
“No, it isn’t” according to the response of the student.
3. The teacher repeats the process with different
objects and encourages the students to practice the
sentence pattern.
Step4: Practice
1. The teacher prepares a set of colored objects such
as pens, books, bags, and toys.
2. The teacher asks the students to match the objects
with the color cards the students have learned.
3. The teacher then asks the students to practice the
sentence pattern “Is this/that your…” with the objects. Step5: Extension
1. The teacher asks the students to describe one object
in the classroom and its color.
2. The teacher then asks the students to find out the
objects with the same color and describe them.
3. The teacher encourages the students to use the
sentence pattern “Is this/that your…” to ask their
classmates if the objects belong to them.
Step6: Summary
1. The teacher summarizes the key points of the lesson
with the students.
2. The teacher asks the students if they have any
questions or difficulties with the new vocabulary or
sentence patterns.
Step7: Homework
1. The teacher gives the students a worksheet with
pictures of objects in different colors.
2. The students are required to practice the sentence
pattern “Is this/that your…” to fill in the blanks with
the correct words.
3. The students are encouraged to describe the objects
and their colors in English.
