一.教学目标：

1.知识与技能：

（1）知识目标：

①熟练掌握词汇passage,pupil,completely,shocked,silence, recently,terrorist ,

date,tower,truth,in silence,take down.

②进一步使用过去进行时谈论过去某时正在发生的事情。

（2）技能目标：通过阅读训练，使学生重点掌握阅读策略：Reading the title and the

first sentences,提高学生的阅读能力。

2.过程与方法：采用任务型教学法，以小组合作的方式完成2a-2e教学任务。在充分运用“自主、合作、探究”的学习方式中，用“思维导图教学法”培养学生在阅读中获取信息、处理信息和运用信息的能力。

3.情感态度与价值观：通过对阅读文章的学习，使学生了解美国民权运动领袖Dr.

Martin Luther King被杀及震惊世界的9.11恐怖袭击事件。进而激起学生对政治领袖大无畏精神的崇敬和对恐怖分子的憎恨之情。

1.教学方法：

①任务型教学法。根据教材设计的activities 2b-2e,引导学生“在做中学，学中做”完成这些任务。

②“思维导图”教学法。在这节课中，以两件大事为主线，运用“思维导图”辅助英语阅读教学，从“导入—阅读—复述—对话”，由浅入深，使学生逐渐掌握文章的思想内容和语言知识点，又培养了学生的思维能力。
