R P T C S2Control of All Operational FunctionsUsed exclusively on Russelectric RTSSeries transfer and bypass/isolationswitches, the Russelectric RPTCSmicroprocessor automatic transfercontrol system controls all operationalfunctions of the ATS. Each RPTCS isprogrammed at the factory to controlstandard switch features as well ascustomer-specified options.Controller design accommodates theaddition of accessories.Intuitive Graphical User InterfaceThe RPTCS’s graphical control panelprovides an operator with rapid accessto relevant information and controlsthrough intuitive sequences. It alsoallows access to control settings andother available information.Setup, alarm acknowledgement, andreview of actual data are easilyaccomplished using the controller’s softkeys and color display. The intuitivemenu guides the user through controllersetup and the entering of configurationdata, including communications andtiming set points, adjustable controlparameters (interlocks, alarms, andsecurity), and event logging. The panel contains a 3.5" (320 x 240pixel) backlit color LCD screen, andpushbutton keys for display andcommand functions. Pushbuttons forALARM RESET, TEST, CONTROL, andINFO provide direct-acting control.Several LED indicators show switchstatus. Details are displayed on-screenwhen the user navigates to theappropriate screen.Located directly below the displayscreen, five soft keys are used to performnavigation and screen-specific functions, and to acknowledge pop-up windows.Labels for these keys are context-sensitive and appear in grey boxes alongthe bottom of the LCD screen.Fully Programmed at the FactoryAll RPTCS Controls are fully programmedat the factory with default setpoints.Changing SetpointsOperators can easily review and alterthese default setpoints (except forfactory setpoints, which can only bemodified by Russelectric personnel)within established limits through thecontroller graphical interface.Configuration setpoints are categorizedas follows:• ATS Configuration• CT-VT Configuration• Inputs• Outputs• Communications•R PTCS System (including Security)•E vents•E vent CountersCommunicationThe RPTCS Control supports twocommunications interfaces:• Modbus RTU via RS485•M odbus TCP/IP via10/100Base-T Ethernet (optional)An external communication port onthe control’s faceplate allows fast, easy connection to a laptop.163452C olor LCD screenC ontext-sensitive soft keysN avigation keysL ED status indicator lightsD irect-acting function keysU SB portActual ValuesActual values — measured values and control, maintenance, and fault analysis information — can be easily displayed on the RPTCS’s screen through the menu. Real-time metering of voltage (phase-to-phase and phase-to-neutral) and frequency of both normal and emergency power sources is standard. Available options include metering of phase and neutral current; percent of unbalanced current; percent of unbalanced voltage; accumulated energy (KWH, KVAH, and KVARH); and per-phase and 3-phase totals for real power (KW), apparent power (KVA), reactive power (KVAR), and power factor. All metering can be accessed through the menu. Operational StatusThe RPTCS provides information on a switch’s operational status in the form of alarms, status messages, or general messages. Alarm messages are preceded by a red triangle and status messages by an orange square. General information messages are displayed in black text. When the controller is first powered up, the status screen will display any parameters that must be entered for proper operation of the ATS. Trips, inhibits, faults/alarms, and control messages are displayed as status messages. The operator can easily scroll through these messages using the up and down rmation messages are providedin two forms: information only andinformation with navigation. The latterare marked with an “Enter” key on theright, which when depressed takes theoperator directly to the respective screen.Status Inputs and Status Outputsscreens display lists of the current stateof each input or output respectively.A Status System screen shows thestatus of communication interfaces(serial and Ethernet).Optional upgrades allow for up to 512 linesof custom control logic programming.System ExerciserThe RPTCS has a built-in exerciser thatis set up and enabled from the ExerciserInfo Screen. This feature allows the userto test the system periodically or toschedule exercises for the operatingsystem periodically in order to minimizeutility costs. The Exerciser Info screen providesaccess to all parameters for schedulingexercises, as well as dates for the lastexercise and next scheduled one.An Exerciser Setup screen allowsselection of the type of exercise and datefor up to 7 events, daily, weekly, semi-monthly, or 24 events yearly. Types ofexercises include Transfer of Load withTime Delay and No Transfer — TestWithout Load/Generator Start Only.Unscheduled manual testing can also beperformed. A “Test Cancel” button allowsan operator to abort a test in progress.DiagnosticsDiagnostics screens display informationsuch as an event record, learned data, power summary, system counters, andsystem information. These screens arevery helpful in diagnosing the cause of afault or alarm. An Event Log screen lists the ten mostrecent events (from the event recorder)with the most recent at the top.An Event Log/Statistics screen displaysdate and time information as well asthe reason for the last failure of thepreferred source. It also provides statisticson how long the load has been in eithersource, how many transfers haveoccurred, and total time the load hasbeen without power.A Power Summary screen displays phaserotation, voltages and angles, frequency, and phase difference for both sources.Fixed system information is displayedon the System Parameters screen.Information includes the order code, serial number, and hardware andsoftware revision.Information on the last transfer eventand load conditions at the time arepresented on the Event Log screen.Optional Wave Form CaptureThe RPTCS can also monitor powerquality with available waveform captureand historical trending.3Russelectric Inc South Shore Park Hingham, MA 02043RPTCS1 4/12 © 2011 Russelectric, Inc. 适用范围XLDQ3CM型双电源自动切换开关XLDQ3CM系列智能型双电源自动切换开关(简称A.T.S)适用于额定工作电压交流400V,频率50/60Hz的紧急供电系统。
