The analysis of Construction Mechanical Simulation of the Large-span Steel Structure

Abstract—With the development of science and technology in recent years, the large-span spatial structures is one of the fastest growing form of the structure. Because large-span spatial structures are very complex and the construction cycle is long, the impact of internal forces and deformation is relatively large for construction of structures. The constructional mechanic combines structure mechanic and construction technology together, the large-span steel structure construction’s process simulation must be done to make use of mechanical methods of construction. And it is necessary to take reasonable construction procedures to guarantee the stress and deformation of the construction-completed structure to meet the requirement given by designers. In this paper, the analytical methods and the construction schemes have been discussed by some practical projects on the large-span steel structure, in order to provide a reasonable basis for the construction.

I. PREFACE

In the design of the structure, designers often only analyze the structure that has been forming, the factors such as the stiffness of the structure, load and boundary conditions is also a one time load on the structure, and considered only the shape and structure in different combinations of load and deformation. But in the actual construction process, geometrical shape of the structure is changing, those factors is not a one-time load on the structure, therefore the changes of construction consequence is going to affect the construction. The difference is that for the structure of simple construction, such "path effect" on the structure is little effect in terms of large-span steel structure, due to the complexity of its form, the construction cycle is longer, this effect is not negligible. Therefore by using the rational analysis method, carries on the construction process to the track simulation analysis, obtains the most superior plan of construction, causes the structure of the force and deformation tends to the design state is very necessary. In this paper, some practical works on the large-span steel structure in the construction process of the analytical methods used, as well as to explore the construction program, in order to provide a reference to a reasonable construction.

II. RESEARCH THEORIES OF THE LARGE-SPAN STEEL

STRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION MECHANICS

A. Theory of time-varying structure mechanics In the traditional structure mechanics analysis, the structure is known and invariable. Along with the large-span spatial structure's rapid development, the complexity of the structure and construction of the long cycle have determined that studies only on three-dimensional shape of the structure of power is not enough, understand that under the time effect the structure construction process was also very necessary. The structure of the construction process of the mechanical problems belong to the constructional mechanics research category, the corresponding dynamic structure also known as “the time-varying structure”, is the product which combine traditional mechanics with the civil engineering. The time- varying structure mechanics divides into three forms according to the load and the structure change speed [1]: (1): fast time-varying structural mechanics (vibration theory of the time-varying structure): mainly used in aerospace industry, because the partial differential equations with variable coefficients solves is quite difficult, therefore it has not been operational in the structural design.(2) slow time- varying structural mechanics: the structure changes slowly over time, can use freeze discrete time method approximately to deal with, and can regard it as a sequence of time-invariant structure of static or dynamic analysis, that means to study the most disadvantageous certain active status in the course of their work, in each structure without considering changes in the structure to analyze the structure of the state of rigidity, the bearing capacity and stability, it belongs to the time-variable structure static problem. The most typical slow time-varying structure of the mechanical problem is to study the structure of the mechanical performance in the constructional process, that is the problem which need to study in the construction of mechanical.(3) super-slow time-varying structural mechanics (the theory of time-varying reliability and maintenance of decision-making theory): mainly research the changes of the structure which is influenced by the factors such as environment, materials aging, and load in the service period.
