2. Enable Ss to use Non-finite Verbs freely and wisely.

Teaching Procedures:
Step 1 激趣导学
1. Revision of to do/v-ing/v-ed.
2. Summary:
1)动词不定式在句中可以做主语、宾语、表语、定语、补语状语和独立成分。

2)动词ing形式在句中做主语、宾语、宾补、表语、定语、状语和独立结构。

3)动词ed形式在句中做定语、表语、宾补、状语和独立结构。

Step 2 重点讲析
否定式:not + v-ed
Put into English:
1.说是一回事,做事另一回事。

To say is one thing, to do is another.
2.眼见为实。

Seeing is believing.
3.完成作业后,汤姆出去玩了。

After /Having finished his homework, Tom went out to play.
4.他醒来发现自己躺在医院。

He woke up only to find himself lying in hospital.
5.杯子掉到地上摔得粉碎。

The cup fell to the ground, broken into pieces.
Step 5 要点总结
非谓语动词作定语比较:
to do作定语------将来要发生的动作;
doing作定语------主动,动作正在进行;
done作定语------被动,动作已完成。
