The film tells a man named Parker, a university professor in a small town . One day he encountered a poor puppy and take it home, Professor adopted it, give it a name called Hachi .Since then it lived with Parker family and gradually growed up.

This film is based on a true story . The real Hachi was born in Odate Japan in 1923,when his master,Dr.Eisaburo Ueno,a professor at Tokyo University died in May,1925. Hachi returned to the Shibuya train station the next day and for the next nine years to wait .Hachi died in March 1935. Today,a bronze statue of Hachi sits in his waiting spot outside the Shibuya railroad station.

They encountered in a railway station in winter. The professor got off the train and back to home when the dog followed with him. So the professor took it home and took care of it. And there had a happiness time in the prefessor’s home
This is the Hachi final Image. In this winter ,Hachi dead at the station.
This movie is sorrowful, but the director give a happy ending, in dream Hachi has waited the professor.
From Monday to Friday, the Hachi followed the professor and sent him to go to train station. Back home alone.
When the 5 P.M. The Hachi spontaneously go to the station and pick up the professor. Back to home together.Everyday like this.

This movie based on a real story.That happened in Japan in 1935. So I was moved by the spirit of the Hachi.
From that day ,Hachi still went to railway station at 5 p.m. and he wanted to met the pofessor, and he did not know the profess was dead. But he still waited at station. It had been 10 years.
The happniess life just about one year ,the professor’s daughter has been married and she pregnant. One weekend , the professor teach Hachi to pick up the ball. But the Hachi did not learn. The professor was puzzled. Oneday the professor go to work ,but the Hachi bark a long time, because the dog can forecast the disease.but the professor had not realize it and he still go to work, the dog did not followed this time.but when professor arrived at station, to his surprise,Hachi grip a ball with teeth and met the professor. So on working, the professor fall in a faint by disease. And he did not back.
Impression：
He taught me the meaning of loyalty,that you should never forget anyone that you loved. And that's why Hachi will forev dead, the wife movedto a new city, and the dog did not followed still waited.
Ten years later , the professor’s wife back to the small town and go to the professor’s graveyard.the way back to station,it’s 5 p.m. she saw the Hachi waited front the station. She was closed to the dog and say;you are still waiting, if the right, can I wait with you for the next train?
