This filΒιβλιοθήκη is based on a true story . That happened in Japan in 1935.So I was moved by the spirit of Hachi!
No one has the ability to show his love to only one person during his whole life, let alone make friends with only one person; have the food that never changes year by year; do the same damn thing without complaining and consciousness of exhaustion. We can’t! However, what we could learn from Hachi is that we should never forget the one we once loved. In fact , some research and statistics prove that pets are more sensitive in human’s diseases than we do. Hachi fetched that ball because he knew that his master would die because of his heart disease. It’s his only way to hold him back . Hachi has been waiting in the weeds, waiting for his only fellow to walk him home. His hope has been floating in the breeze, carrying his loneliness and misery all above the ground. Maybe professor knows, but he could never come back. Hachi’s loyalty deeply touched me.

Plot:
Parker ,a college professor, encountered an abandoned dog. Its lonely figure sparked his mercy. His wife strongly opposed at first, and does everything possible to pack it off . But then she saw that her husband and daughter loved the dog very much and finally decided to admit the dog into the family. Parker called it " Hachi."

• Worth seeing? • That said, Hachi: A Dog’s Tale is never less than watchable and the story is genuinely moving, thanks to a charming performance from Richard Gere.

Hachi: A Dog's Tale
• This is a story between a dog and his host. The college professor Parker Wilson finds a lost puppy at a train station and takes it home, which takes much annoyance to his wife Cate.
• Hachi persisted in waiting for his host, day after day and year after year. Hachi came to the station to wait his host in the day time and sleep under a discarded train at night. The dog moved the people in the train and the people all over the world.It is a real story.
• However, parker and the dog develop such a remarkable bond that Cate is forced to relent and Hachi becomes a devoted member of the family.
• After several months, Parker and Hachi get along very well, they become partners. Every morning, Hachi accompanies Parker to the train station and waits patiently for his return, becoming a regular fixture of Hachi’s life.
• The dog gives us a vivid lesson that we all have to loyal to our family, loyal to family, loyal to our country.
• And it also tells me that never forget those whom you love.
• However, Every day is not Sunday.
• One day, Hachi became abnormal, he barked fiercely and didn’t want to see his host off. At last, Hachi came to the station to see Parker off reluctantly. It was Parker's last time to see Hachi. He was dead because of heart disease.
• The Good • Gere is excellent as Parker, delivering a likeable, warm-hearted performance that is extremely charming. He also creates an onscreen bond with Hachi (played, as usual, by several different dogs) that will melt even the most cynical of hearts. • The dog itself is impossibly cute, especially during the puppy years – if you see the film at the cinema, be prepared to be surrounded by entire roomfuls of people going “Awwww” involuntarily. It's also beautifully shot throughout and there's strong support from Allen, Sarah Roemer (as Parker's grown-up daughter), Jason Alexander (as station master Carl) and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as Parker's friend Ken.
• The Bad • The problem is that the story, whilst undeniably moving, is ultimately too slight to sustain a 90 minute running time – once Hachi starts waiting at the station, that's basically all that happens for the next 40 minutes or so. Much of the blame for this rests with the script, which could easily have made engaging sub-plots out of each of the station-based supporting characters (particularly Erick Avari and Davenia McFadden as a hot dog vendor and a bookseller) but leaves them frustratingly underwritten and essentially repeating the same dialogue over and over again.
