Unit 3 At the zoo 单元作业设计一、单元信息二、单元分析(一)课标要求本单元属于“人与自然”主题,要求学生能区分认识动物园中常见的动物,了解不同动物的外形特征和生活方式,主题范围清晰,内容贴近实际生活,也较符合小学生的认知水平。
新课程标准强调,英语教学要重视对学生实际语言运用能力的培养,强调课程要从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式,发展学生的综合语言运用能力。
因此在进行单位整体作业设计的时候,结合“双减”政策,作业内容要实现分层设计、个性化设计和趣味性设计,要实现以学生为中心,从而激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣。
根据课标要求,通过本单元的学习,学生能够详细认识多种动物,还能对动物的体型、器官等进行简单比较和描述,吸引学生对动物产生浓厚的兴趣,探究领悟人类社会与动物和谐共处的问题,在今后的生活中做到爱护动物,保护环境。
(二)教材分析1.内容分析本单元是人教版英语三年级下册第三单元,教学内容主要是围绕教师与孩子们参观动物园的情景来展开的。
动物是我们人类的好朋友,学生也很喜欢小动物,抓着这一点,设计一系列的教学和作业活动就很容易激发学生的学习兴趣,让学生在学习英语的同时,感受到英语就在我们的生活当中,同时引导学生爱护动物,保护动物。
本单元主要分为 A、B、C 三个部分。
A 部分主要呈现四个形容词 tall, short, fat, thin, 使学生能在动物园这个情景中灵活、恰当地使用词汇及句型:Look at…It's…来描述动物。
在 Let's spell 中学习字母 i 在闭音节中的发音,训练学生能根据其发音规则听单词读音拼出相应单词。
B 部分主要是继续呈现四个描述性的形容词 small, big, long, short,并通过教学活动使学生能熟练掌握这四个描述性的形容词。
在 Start to read 中通过两项专项练习,训练学生的阅读理解能力和表达能力;Let's check 部分则更进一步让学生掌握本单元重点词汇、句型。
