【本讲教育信息】一. 教学内容:名词性从句——宾语从句与表语从句二. 知识精讲在复合句中起名词性作用的句子叫名词性从句。
名词性从句的功能相当于名词词组, 它在复合句中能担任主语、宾语、表语、同位语、介词宾语等,根据它在句中不同的语法功能,因此名词从句又分为主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句和同位语从句。
(一)宾语从句1. 概念及引导词在复合句中起宾语作用的从句叫宾语从句。
引导宾语从句的连接词有连接代词(who, whom, whose , what , which, whoever , whatever, whichever )、连接副词(when , where , how, why )及从属连词(that , whether, if ).例:John said that he was leaving for London on Wednesday.约翰说他星期三要到伦敦去。
I am glad that you are satisfied with your job.你对工作满意我感到很高兴。
She will name him whatever she wants to.她高兴给他起什么名字就起什么名字。
That depends on where we shall go.那取决于我们去哪儿。
2. 宾语从句的种类常见的宾语从句有动词的宾语从句、介词的宾语从句和形容词的宾语从句三种。
(1)动词的宾语从句They know that the habit may kill them.他们知道这个习惯会害死他们。
They doubt whether or not Jack is a good student.他们怀疑Jack是否是一个好学生。
They wanted to see which shops offered the best advice and service.他们想了解哪家店提出的建议和提供的服务最好。

特色教学新模式尝试 执教人:戚满兰 上课班级:高一(6)班 上课时间:2011年5月4号 上课内容:Module 3 Unit 3 The Million Pound Bank Note 教学设计: Module 3 Unit 3 The Million Pound Bank Note Step 1: Reading for general idea Ask students to read Scene 1 Act 1 silently, underline the difficult words&expressions or sentences, and then look up these difficult words&expressions in the dictionary (10 minutes) Purpose: This activity is aimed at helping students further develop their self-learning ability by referring to the dictionary to get rid of the new word barrier. Besides, students can get the main idea of act 1 by reading through the whole passage.
Step 2: Group discussion and practice Ask students to form a group of 4 to discuss the sentences they find difficult to understand, and then practice acting out Act 1. (They may ask teacher for help if necessary.) (15minutes) Purpose: This section is intended to helping students further cultivate their team-work spirit by means of discussing the difficult sentences and practicing acting out Act 1. What’s more, it also offers students a good chance to practice their social skills by asking for help from classmates or teacher.
Step 3: Role play Ask 2 groups to act out Act 1 in front of the whole class, and then analyze 4
their performance based on their pronunciation, intonation, influence, and body language) (15 minutes) Purpose: This activity is intended to improve students’ spoken English by analyzing their pronunciation, intonation, and influence. Furthermore, it helps students attach more importance to their body language while expressing their feelings and thoughts.
Step 4: Consolidation---Watching part of the Movie (4.5 minutes) Ask students to enjoy an excerpt from the film The Million Pound Bank Note, and require them to pay special attention to the lines of the 4 characters and their body languages. Purpose: This activity provides students with a good chance to compare their performance with that of the real actors in the film, so they know how to make improvement in their acting. More importantly, it is also a good way to digest what they have learnt in the class.
Step 5: Assignment (0.5 minutes) Ask students to find out the Noun clauses, including Subject clause, Object clause, and Predicative clause Purpose: This section is aimed at helping students master the grammar point--- Noun clauses by sorting out the Subject clause, Object clause, and Predicative clause.
教学反思: In general, I have achieved the teaching goals. Most students have taken an active parting the classroom activities and cooperate well with each other. However, some students felt too nervous to act out Act 1. Others have a poor pronunciation or intonation. That is to say, they need more chances to practice their spoken English and improve their speaking skills.
