订单在掌握了对方的产品情况及谈妥价格之后，大致就可以向卖方下订单了。
公司通常都有自制的订单(Order Sheet, Order Form)，上面注明有订单号码，以便查询。
至于订单函，则必须写明商品名、数量、价格以及交货日等条件。
卖方在收到客户的订单后，也应及时回函确认此订单。
Stage 1表明是根据对方的产品目录、样品及谈妥的价格而订购下列产品的。
列明订购商品的品名、数量、价格以及交货期等。
Stage 2请求确认此订单。
说明买方的希望条件（品质、装船、包装、付款等）Stage 3请求卖方能高度关切此订单。
