三、教材分析本课为译林版《牛津高中英语》模块五第二单元Project Writing a report——Protecting the Y angtze River部分，话题与环保有关，平时学生已通过各种媒介了解了有关环保的信息，所以在处理课文时，充分利用了多媒体，通过图片、视频等途径让同学们了解长江的现状及对周边乃至整个中国的影响，激起了学生的环保意识，再让学生阅读文章，分组讨论，最后要求学生写一篇有关环保的报告。

教学重点：1、通过阅读找出各段的主旨句。

2、通过讨论提出治理长江的建议。

3、写一篇关于环保的报告。

教学难点：1、培养学生环境保护的责任感和使命感。

2、培养学生用英语组织信息，写出一份报告。

教学准备：教学之前运用百度在网上搜索长江的相关教学材料，了解教学重点和难点，确定课堂教学方法，制作多媒体课件。

根据课堂教学要求用百度搜索关于长江的图片和视频，作为导入时创设情境之用，让学生产生浓厚的学习兴趣；并运用百度搜索关于环境保护的视频和文字资料，帮助学生分析、思考，进而制定探究项目。

四、教学方法在本课教学时为了突破重难点，我充分运用了百度搜索，搜索了许多有关长江和环境保护的图片和视频，制作成多媒体课件，以小测试形式导入，呈现给学生大量长江的背景信息，然后学生通过阅读文章了解长江现状、污染根源和环保措施几个方面，唤醒学生的环保意识，最后进行课堂小结，总结写报告的结构，并让学生在小组讨论的基础上写一篇报告。
