There are four seasons in a year.They are spring,summer,autumn
and winter.Every season has three months and each month has
about thirty days.
The first season is spring.In spring time we have warm weather
and sunny days.There are many beautiful flowers in the gardens
and in the fields.The birds begin to sing their
songs.Everything comes to life again.
The second season we call summer.In summer the weather is very
hot and it rains a lot.All trees are beautiful with their green
leaves.The sky is very clear and blue,and the sunshine is much
stronger than that in other seasons,so many people go to the
seaside or the mountains to avoid the heat.
Autumn is the third season of the year.In autumn the weather

一、教学分析:
1、学习者分析:
六年级学生有了一定的英语语言基础,积累了一定的词汇和语法知识,也具有了一定的语言提炼、归纳和总结能力,但仍待于提高和加强,在课堂活动中通过一定的引导尽量使他们能够用英语表达。
2、学习内容分析:
本单元通过李明在加拿大的一些活动来学习描述冬天以及其他季节的词汇和表达方式,包括利用各种常用英语词汇和短语表达冬季户外活动及衣着。本课是本单元的第一课,学习四季的词汇以及简单描述四季的句子。难度不大,但是整合了天气,景色和服装三个方面,需要一定的总结归纳再到语言的输出。
二、教学目标:
1、知识与技能目标:
(1)学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇:
season, winter, spring, summer, autumn
(2)学生能认读、理解并运用下列句子:
There are four seasons in a year.
In winter, I put on my hat, scarf and winter coat.
In spring, I take off my winter clothes.
(3)能简单描述四季的不同特征。
2、学习策略:
(1)在说的过程中,训练孩子们的短时记忆;
(2)借助图片、词汇、情景等信息的帮助与提示,培养孩子说完整的句子,说条理清楚、层次分明的一段话。
3、情感态度目标:
通过了解不同季节的特征,培养学生对大自然的热爱之情。
