四教学目标1.知识目标：学会使用表示动物的词汇及短语。
掌握一般现在时的一般疑问句。
2.能力目标：在对话中找到主要的信息，学会运用a)Does the...eat...? Yes, it does. It eats...b)Do the... eat...? No, they don’t.They eat...3.情感目标：使学生能热爱动物，并唤起他们保护动物的意识。
五．教学方法1) 视听法：主要通过多媒体课件展示、图片展示、点读笔点读，老师提问、学生回答等方式提供让学生看、听、说的练习机会2）问答法：展示各种图片，让学生利用这些图片进行交流，互相问答，让学生在做中学，在实践中获得信息，习得英语。
3) 小组竞争：采用小组竞争的方式，这样能激起学生的竞争意识，培养合作精神。
六．教学过程Step1 : Read the new words before class and have a dictation设计意图：课前一两分钟的时间让学生利用点读笔点读单词，纠正发，让学生从单词开始就能学到准确、地道的英语,r然后教师利用点读笔来听写单词。

7.让学生结对根据活动3短文中对动物的描述进行提问和回答。
8.让学生结对编写关于动物的对话,并抽取2-3组学生当堂进行表演。
