本节课的主要内容是让学生能够通过描述一个人的外貌特征来介绍他人。
教材通过丰富的图片和情景对话，让学生在真实的情境中学习并运用目标语言。
本节课的教学内容紧扣课程标准，有利于提高学生的英语交际能力。
二. 学情分析七年级的学生已经掌握了基本的英语语法和单词，具备一定的听说读写能力。
但是，学生在描述人物外貌方面还存在一定的困难，需要通过本节课的学习来提高。
此外，学生对本节课的目标语言可能存在一定的陌生感，需要教师通过引导和激励，激发学生的学习兴趣和积极性。
三. 说教学目标1.知识目标：学生能够掌握描述人物外貌的词汇和句型，如tall, short,thin, fat, with glasses等，并能够运用这些词汇和句型进行简单的描述。
2.能力目标：学生能够在真实的情境中听懂、说对、会用目标语言进行人物外貌的描述，提高学生的英语交际能力。
3.情感目标：通过本节课的学习，学生能够增强自信心，乐于用英语进行交流，提高学生对英语学习的兴趣。
四. 说教学重难点1.教学重点：学生能够掌握描述人物外貌的词汇和句型，并能够运用这些词汇和句型进行简单的描述。
2.教学难点：学生能够在真实的情境中听懂、说对、会用目标语言进行人物外貌的描述，特别是对于一些形容词的运用和句子结构的掌握。
五. 说教学方法与手段本节课采用交际法、任务型教学法和情境教学法进行教学。
教师通过设计各种真实的情境，让学生在实践中学习并运用目标语言。
同时，教师运用任务型教学法，引导学生通过完成各种任务来提高自己的英语交际能力。
此外，教师还运用多媒体教学手段，如图片、视频等，激发学生的学习兴趣，提高学生的学习积极性。
