A.Birds in Zhalong
扎龙——一个特别的地方
扎龙自然保护区在中国东北部的黑龙江省境内。
它是世界上最重要的湿地之一。
这片区域为很多野生动物提供食物和庇护所。
它是一些稀有鸟类的完美居所。
很多鸟类全年都住在扎龙,而一些则只在那里作短暂停留。
大部分鸟类都是在白天活动,所以你可以很容易地在那里观察它们。
在世界上还留存的为数不多的鹤,有40%都居住在扎龙。
有些人想要缩小湿地来给农田和建筑腾出空间。
这会导致野生动物的生存空间越来越少。
另外,渔民总在那里捕鱼。
因此,鸟类就没有足够食物可以吃了。
目前中国政府已经制定了法律来避免这些情况的发生。
一年一次,我们观鸟协会的成员都会去扎龙研究鸟类。
我们记录他们的种类和他们数量的变化
每年,很多游客都回去扎龙观赏鸟类。
我们正在邀请他们来帮助我们。
我们需要更多的人来数鸟的数量和描述它们。
我们希望这会帮助人们明白湿地的重要性。

8A Unit6 BirdwatchingReading1 教学设计一、教材分析本节课的教学内容是牛津初中英语8A,Unit6 Birdwatching中阅读课型的第一课时。
本单元的主题是观鸟,这个也是整个单元的主线。
从介绍各种各样的鸟类开始,进而介绍扎龙和盐城自然保护区的情况,在本单元的最后部分,倡议学生为保护鸟类贡献自己的一份力。
本单元Reading部分是关于扎龙自然保护区以及保护区内的鸟类。
这个部分在本单元中的地位和作用是十分重要的,主要体现在:首先,扎龙自然保护区在我国自然保护区中占有重要地位,学生本来对于自然保护区是没有概念的,经过学习本篇课文,可以对自然保护区有一个初步的了解,为之后如何保护鸟类提供认知基础。
其次,课文中观鸟俱乐部的介绍为最后一部分Task做好了铺垫。
最后,Reading部分是学生积累词汇和语言知识、提升阅读技能的主要阵地。
本课时是Reading部分的第一课时,需要在激发学生阅读兴趣的基础上让学生能够大致了解文章的大意,鼓励学生利用阅读技巧获取更多信息,在情感上引导学生对保护鸟类引发共鸣。
二、学情分析经过初中近两年的英语学习,学生已经熟悉上阅读课的常规步骤,并且具备一定的阅读技巧。
大多数学生都能与他人合作,能从材料中获取主要信息。
阅读课的第一课时难度较大,学生需要克服词汇难关,在教师设计的情境中,完成一项一项的任务,在浓厚的学习兴趣的指引下掌握课本知识。
三、教学目标在本堂课结束时,学生将能够1、结合上下文语境,猜测生词含义,了解文章大意。
2、通过合作学习和自主学习的策略,抓住要点,掌握知识。
3、增强保护鸟类及自然保护区的意识。
4、借鉴国外志愿者活动模式,并付诸行动。
四、教学策略1、情景教学法:教师通过设置一定的情景,在这个情景中呈现各个教学环节,增强趣味性,激发学生的学习兴趣。
2、任务型教学法:通过布置不同的任务来展开教学内容,环环相扣,层层递进。
